Kanter = Very Impressive

Overpowering 6'8'' European centers with limited athletic ability and limited explosiveness is not the same as being a consistent low post scorer in the NBA night in and night out. Kanter has to develop some low post moves, more precisely a go to move down low and some sort of a shot if he is going to be a decent scorer in the NBA. The third pick in the NBA draft needs to be a difference maker! Is Kanter that? Or will he become that?

Yes he is going to be a difference maker. He is going to be real good. Just wait til that young buck fully develops. Plus his style will compliment Favors. He can shoot outside. He's just working through nerves and searching for his spots. By the end of the season he will be draining outside shots.

What is with the Kanter hate? Seriously what is with some of you. We took Kanter, get over it. He is a Jazz man and it is about time you guys got with the program. Stop with the ridiculous nitpicking. We didn't take Knight, so get off Kanter's back.

Nobody has mentioned that Kanter has a really small forehead. Which means he is actually taller than measured. What good is it to have more forehead? In terms of where his eyes and shoulders are compared to his opponents he measures up to taller opponents. Now I know that the biggest thing is actually your standing reach but there is something to be said for where your center of gravity meets your opponents. So when he is fighting for position he has an advantage.

Take Chris bosh for example. His neck is really long. So his eyes and head are way up there but his shoulders are down lower. Which means his height is much use to him except where his eye level is.

I know that an inch and a half isn't all that much. Which is the amount of forehead that I calculated could be added to Kanter. And his standing reach isn't off the charts . I'm just trying to squeeze as much juice out of that orange that I can.

Lmao, that was good.

Maybe. But I wouldn't be surprised with a 10/20 season in the next few years.
. Maybe my ***. I'll go on record saying kanter is 17 & 12 MINIMUM (barring Odom syndrome). This kid has it. All of it. And this is coming from the guy who lead the antiKanter pre draft flaming. PKM can thank me for helping guys like Cry/Pwna out of the closet.

Kanter is the move over Kevin Love.

**Errrr... Oden.

I love watching Kanter when he's within 4 feet of the bucket (even though he can't actually score from that distance). It hurts to watch Kanter anywhere else. It's going to take a while for him, but you get glimpses which give me hope.
I love watching you spin your *** off for the two players most detrimental to winning on the Jazz and that 7 years into their careers, they're just going to up and turn it around one day. But then you have crap like this to say about a kid that is already showing an elite skill after three games in the league.

In other words:

'CJ Miles is going to be a star in this league, just you wait. In season 7, it's finally just going to click for the kid, and his shots are just going to fall. Suddenly. And look out for BIG AL. He plays in the LOW POST. He could be better... and he will finally. Because!

Oh, that 19-year old that couldn't play real basketball for the better part of 3-years and impacts the game significantly in every one of the only three games he played? He's mostly terrible. He might get better.'

It's not so much his measurements that hinder him but that standing vertical. I don't expect a 6'11 270 pounder to have a great vertical, that defies physics, but he should be better than Okur (old), Jefferson (fat), Blair (no ACLs). There has to be some type of circuit training for improving that.
