So the equation is simple. We need somebody to fall in love with Black to grab Hendricks … otherwise we’re left with Dick on our hands..

So a better outcome than drafting Black or Hendricks.

I could be wrong, but I really think the Jazz would take Wallace or Black at 9 over Dick.

Cason should be an adequate shooter. I don't have him as a top-10 guy in the draft though.

If we wanted to move up from the Minny pick I think Dallas and Washington could both be real possibilities… if it means we could get Wallace and Hendricks or Wallace and Whitmore I’d package some picks to do it.

I believe Portland could look to move their pick for a win now piece. I doubt they would take anything less than Lauri, so nothing we probably can get involved in, but that is interesting to think about.

It has to be someone who values Sexton. I think that could be Dallas or Washington, so it checks out. Sexton is just our best most tradeable player. Just a shame he got injured. He could have been in line for a huge value boost in those last 20 games.

If I thought I had a legitimate chance of being a #1 pick in a draft, I would take my shot. I guess that's weird though.

Yeah, obviously it's a rare scenario, but I also think next year is a rare draft in that no one is thought of as being a clear #1.

I always think HS draft projectors are full of **** though. When they hype a draft it's always weaker and when they **** on a draft it seems to be strong. SO who really knows, I guess no one.

Sexton maybe but I could see Dallas wanting a pick too… same thing with Washington… could see the extra pick being a nice trade asset they can use later… and they still get the 14th or 16th pick on top of it.

I would be really surprised if they moved it. In their spot I think they will be in a good position to snag someone that can be solid for them immediately that still has plenty of upside.
