If I were Miami and I wanted to go into a rebuild, I'd consider moving Jimmy Butler for #5, plus 2 or 3 more future picks.
If it was for a team that had time to develop, I suspect those two picks might be worth a pick in the 7 or 8 range. - a 13-16 range pick this year plus a future Laker first after Lebron and AD are probably gone. What do you think our Laker pick would be worth if we tried to cash it in for something in this draft? Do you think that pick PLUS the Wolves pick this year together might be worth a 5-8 range pick this year? Thoughts?
That's not what Miami does.If I were Miami and I wanted to go into a rebuild, I'd consider moving Jimmy Butler for #5, plus 2 or 3 more future picks.
Nurkirc has desintrigated. If you somehow eat his salary, I bet they would trade the pick. I would do it. Cam, Jarace or Ausur would be worth it.The Blazers will likely ask for an All Star or near All Star-type player for a pick in the 5 - 7 range. Last year, they wanted OG Anunoby for the #7 pick and were turned down by the Raptors. Jazz aren't a great trade partner for the Blazers in a 2-way trade, imo. There might be a 3-way scenario that could work though.
That's not what Miami does.
Basically wemby scoot Miller Cam Walker Thompson twins Hendrick are your top 8. 9th is a pretty tough place to be unless you are obsessed with Black/Dick/NSJ etcSo the equation is simple. We need somebody to fall in love with Black to grab Hendricks … otherwise we’re left with Dick on our hands..
Heat is basically mavs of the east. Core is solid but meh on everything else. they are stuck with a bunch of garbage contracts and only way forward is by hitting some home runs in the draft.Maybe. Jimmy is 33, and his contract is heavy. They could draft someone like Cam Whitmore, Jarace Walker or Brandon Miller. Then take back expiring money and have space to go after Jaylen Brown in free agency in a year.
I think it would be more like the Minny pick and two future picks for 6. They can use the picks later in trades and still add a prospect. Maybe focus on a rookie that is further along. I could also see Minny pick, Ochai, future pick being pretty solid. If the Jazz had a player on Sexton's level at a different position I think they could work something out, but IDK how they do it otherwise.
Maybe 9+16+Ochai for 6? If you really love Ausar or Jarace (assuming one of those is there, wouldnt do it for Whitmore personally). I could maybe get behind that? That's a decent package just to move up 3 spots (or is it the 5th pick? Either way I would be targeting a twin or Jarace)
Not what I meant at all, but I worded it poorly, so I understand the confusion. We definitely shouldn't trade Lauri. No its not. Lauri should not be traded. Period.
I would only trade him for a premium asset, so technically no I am not. We’re not trading Kessler are you kidding me?
Right…Basically wemby scoot Miller Cam Walker Thompson twins Hendrick are your top 8. 9th is a pretty tough place to be unless you are obsessed with Black/Dick/NSJ etc
This dude is worse than Black if you think he is also a point guard option smhJalen Hood-Schifino is growing on me the more I watch him. If we take a forward with our pick, I wouldn't mind taking him with the Minny pick.
This is the part of the year when you talk yourself into liking the BPA of where we pick.
Provided Hendricks is off the board at the 9th pick I’m liking: Black, Dick, Cisoko and GG.
At this point you probably have to rank all the future Wolves picks as our best assets, then the latter two Cavs picks, then the Lakers pick, then the 2025 pick then all of Utah's own picks.
