Whats depressing is that Mudiay and Stanley Johnson were the nos 7 and 8 picks in the 2015 draft.

Mario Hezonja went #5.

If the Jazz trade a player this year, I think it will be Colin Sexton. I think the Jazz picked him up as an appreciable asset. Sexton isn't really a point guard, and he doesn't otherwise meet the Jazz's height requirements.

He's the most Danny Ainge player on the roster tho

Kris Murray at 16 is yuck.

Been calling Maxwell at 28 for months now.

I'm sure they want that, doesn't mean it has to come at every single roster spot.

I think the chance that the Jazz draft Gradey Dick at #9 is better than 30%. He's a bankable shooter and ball mover who can play pick and roll with our bigs. He's got great feel and IQ. If the Jazz don't take him at #9, he's going to end up at Orlando (11) or OKC (12). The only question is whether he's going to get roasted on defense.

After looking at it… honestly if the board fell that way I’m cool with those picks. Likely prefer Hawkins over Murray and Bilal or a couple other dudes over Lewis but that’s the right type of gamble. If we go pg at 9 I’m hoping that Miller is still there at 16.

Yeah but why don't you go back and look at a history of the 9th picks of say the past 10 years? Why focus on just the 1 year?
