GrossI wouldn't hate if the Jazz took Coulibaly at #9. I like him as much as Anthony Black, tbh.

It's be a call. I think I would take Black, but between Bilal and Hendricks I might swing for Bilal.I wouldn't hate if the Jazz took Coulibaly at #9. I like him as much as Anthony Black, tbh.
I think the hope is he’s more Scottie Barnes… who I think got a tad overrated… not a lot… but when they are like “he’s not on the table if we trade for KD” like calm the hell down.Or, you could say that if you liked Patrick Williams a few years ago you should love Walker.

Any way very good player. Walker could be that I suppose. I like him… just like Hendricks more.
BTW, there is a rumor floating around that Jarace Walker skipped his Pro Day because he has a promise from someone. Walker doesn't have a health issue with his elbow or whatever. He's been healthy and working out individually.
Having a big playmaker who can control the middle of the floor is a big advantage for any offense. Obviously, Jokic, Lebron and Luka are the prime examples, but every team now is looking for a wing-sized playmaker to operate from the top of the key and in. The Celtics even played through Jayson Tatum as their primary initiator, and he isn't really a natural playmaker.
So I can see the argument for Hood-Schifino based on positional value. I just question whether overall he's really big enough or good enough. But the main thing is that he can control space in the middle of the floor.
You can like Black without making things upI think Black is closer to being Barnes than Walker.
He's pretty comparable to Booker imoHaving a big playmaker who can control the middle of the floor is a big advantage for any offense. His D is probably the worst in the draft among the general top 30I like his tape and offensive upside. How’s his defense?
I’m sure a number of actual front offices have done the same. But hey it could be worse. Word has it the jazz had Ball #2 but switched him from second to second round and had Dok take his spot![]()
Well, there goes that dreamHis D is probably the worst in the draft among the general top 30

Being too prideful is not a positive attribute. At least I stick to my guns.
There’s also a very realistic scenario where Ausar is the better NBA player on top of that. One of the things I don't understand are the mocks that have Amen going 3 and Ausar going 9. You should either be all in on both or skeptical of both. NOBODY has enough information to determine that there is that much functional difference between the two. You might as well broadcast "I'm just guessing here!"

I honestly don’t get why people are trying to dump on Cy for having the stones to very publicly change his mind at an appropriate juncture.
A prospect quitting in the middle of a team’s workout, then smoking weed in the locker room is not some little piece of info. I’ve never heard of anything that bonkers in the pre-draft process.Because he had all of the evidence in front of him before making a dumb claim then a little piece of info comes out that isn’t as bad as what was previously known and he’s off his board completely after being top-10. That’s why.
Some posters get hard at the thought they can call me wrong so they will bend their brain to think that was an obvious thing we should have seen coming because he was a chucker who complained about not getting the ball enoughA prospect quitting in the middle of a team’s workout, then smoking weed in the locker room is not some little piece of info.
