ever is a long time for a kid that age, but i agree it just doesn't look good. it's a significant concern. The mechanics of Black's shot just look so gross to me. I personally never see it getting better.

bouncy is a good word to describe the difference in their athleticism. black is pretty elite vertically, but green might be a more explosive rim attacker.I think Green is bouncier than Black and Black may end up being more of a tank.
Really? Josh Green is damn athletic. I challenge you to go look at their college stats. Black is definitely a bit more of a PG, but they are eerily close in counting and advanced stats.I don't really at all. I think their games will be quite a bit different and they are different kinds of athletes.
I know Green is athletic... I don't think Black is as athletic in a run and jump sense.Really? Josh Green is damn athletic. I challenge you to go look at their college stats. Black is definitely a bit more of a PG, but they are eerily close in counting and advanced stats.
All the more reason to pick up Hawkins or Gradey Dick with the 16th pick. Hearsky's mom is all for a Black................. um.............. Gradey combo. If you get Black, then you are going to need two REALLY good shooters at the 2 and 3/4 depending on what Lauri plays.
no. josh green never played the point coming out of arizona. black was the full time lead guard for arkansas. maybe they look alike or are built somewhat alike. both are plus athletes, in terms of the way they play, skillset, etc - they don't seem much alike at all.
in a nutshell, black is a lead guard through and through, josh green is more straight SG or wing.
The type of player they are trying to make Green be... 3 and D type with some extra stuff maybe... is not the type of player teams will try and turn Black into.I also think Green's biggest weakness his first two years is that he ended up being a poor shooter who was really scared to miss from deep, which is a thing that I think will also effect Black at first (for how long I do not know).
I just see a lot of chances for Black having a similar role to Green to start his career, especially if he goes to a team with established lead playmakers. Josh Green's passing went overlooked at Arizona, but he's a great passer. He showed a lot of upside this past season with some huge games as a playmaker and his shooting has come along (though he hasnt gotten to where he is doing it with volume).
So if Dallas drafts Anthony Black (a thing that has been brought up as a possibility and potentially what they ultimately want) you think that's going to be the case? The type of player they are trying to make Green be... 3 and D type with some extra stuff maybe... is not the type of player teams will try and turn Black into.
No... I don't. Look you asked... i see the statistical similarity in college but I don't think even the Mavs would try to make Black a three and D guy. They would have him shoulder some of the ball handling and creating role.So if Dallas drafts Anthony Black (a thing that has been brought up as a possibility and potentially what they ultimately want) you think that's going to be the case?
IDK, I think you have a real blind spot then.No... I don't. Look you asked... i see the statistical similarity in college but I don't think even the Mavs would try to make Black a three and D guy. They would have him shoulder some of the ball handling and creating role.
I really don't see it on any level... as players or athletes.
