2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Just wait until he is spray painting his name on the temple after his workout. . .
Ozzy pissed on the Alamo and was banned from playing in the city for a decade. When he finally was allowed to play again, he absolutely ROCKED the town.

Sometimes a bit of antisocial behavior leads to life's most meaningful moments.

Well, that would change the draft board for a lot of folks.
I didn't say it would happen lol I think many are in play for him it's just other harder to find archetypes are filling the charts.
I think he was far less impressive in college than he was looking to be going in and that didn't help his stock early on. But at this time, the shot selection issues he had are minimal. The on or off ball tools are pretty high level stuff. Has the tools to be a pretty significant scoring threat even if he is not a main ballhandler point guard for whomever picks him. Any combo with a 6th man floor with superstar guard ceiling is worth it 8-10

I would take a chance with Dariq at 28 or move up a few spots to draft him. If he is healthy he is a late lotto talent. I just worry about guys who have feet problems at an early age.
he might not last to 16 if he is cleared. If he isn't, or the info is sketchy, he probably falls to Miami or I guess Rockets at 20 is my floor for him now

Let’s say Black could shoot as well as Cason or Bufkin.. I think we could all agree he’s easily top 5 in this draft?

Who says no?
If he could shoot well he’d be in play at pick two or three.
I am interested in hearing people draft boards. Where do yall rank the top 10 players? For me...

Wemby
Scoot
Cam (i think he will be a top 3 value from this draft - It factor)
Amen
Miller (Miller looks soft to me - prototypical size, but a bit like Porter to me)
Hendricks - top role player like cam Johnson methinks
Walker (could be a great hit or a nothing burger - he is one of the hardest for me to rank)
Ausar - mostly because of athleticism
Black
Dick - reminds me of Huerter
Hello!!!

#9- Any of these players Hendricks, Walker, Black, Cam or Ausar or Bufkin.
#16 - Bufkin, Wallace, or JHS L. Miller, Bilal or Jett Howard - maybe or Sidy.
#28 GG, Dariq, Maxwell Lewis, Nanji, Rayan Rupert, BPA

Julian Phillips is not a perfect prospect by any means…..but really athletic, gets to the FTr a ton (really caught my eye), 80%+ from the line. Not a terrible pick at 28.
Did you watch him at all in games?

I had to look his number up after 15 mins at one point because he was invisible on the court.

it does somewhat, since everyone in the NBA that knows he cannot offer any spacing at all, will just game plan against it. Easy to stop a team that has that weak of a link offensively. So he will be either limited to playing a secondary ball handler off the bench, on a team with veteran leaders and on ball savants, until he develops a decent pull up game. Or he will get overpicked to be a point guard by some desperate lottery team, hoping for a long term developmental tank commando, for the next 3 seasons. Are the Jazz really going to go that direction with the Finnisher already here and a few other basically win sooner than later roster? I don't know. But if they do, LM is gone by his own accord
he can't make threes. it makes no sense.

That's funny because I did catch all (or at least part of) all three of Tennessee's March Madness games but I don't remember a single thing from him. He looks ok on paper though.
