2023 Trade Rumors and Gossip Involving the Jazz

I'm not a Zinger believer personally. If he could stay healthy maybe but I get it... there are some things you can do at center.
What if some of those issues were being a baby deer that had outgrown its coordination/strength? Or learning better techniques in strength and conditioning? I know we can’t bite every time someone performs in a contract year but he was good last year.

His biggest issue besides that is he is not a good ball-mover. But you’d be BIG 5-out (where your bigs are both actually bigs AND actually comfortable 3-point shooters) with some decent defense from your bigs and putting the ball in the hands of a potential superstar that should be able to get to the rim against anybody 1-on-1.

And what if Porzingis comes on at like $100/3? We’ve just been talking about how Hendricks’ ability to protect the rim and shoot is so valuable and Porzingis might be the better and actual version of that (if he can stay healthy).

I know he’s had his warts but he also seems to still be improving and is still only 27.

The Pacers had Gradey Dick in for an individual workout today. They have Ausar coming in tomorrow. I'm going to go ahead and leap to the conclusion that the Pacers are considering a trade-back with Utah at #9.

David Locke keeps saying, "Washington is a problem." He may actually know something.

Mobility and speed arent the same thing
KP has very good mobility and speed for the center position. I don't understand how someone could watch him and think otherwise. If we didn't have Kessler I would be pushing for the jazz to pair him with Lauri.

Okay, now Ausar has cancelled his workout with the Pacers. Not sure the reason. Maybe he knows he's going 4 - 6 range. I'm going to go ahead and jump to the conclusion that he's not going to slip to #9.

He's the last man down the floor most possessions and doesnt get out on the break. He's slow. He's big and slow. Yes, he is mobile, but he is not fast.

Its kind of everything with the Zinger... I am just not a fan of him as a person (had some rape stuff in NY) and I think he's kind of prickly... on top of the injury stuff. He may be over it and if we did trade Kessler I'd def consider it. I just don't think Portland does it and my brain power is limited on hypotheticals that are that hypothetical.

He might be a guy that is a high upside bet at the right price and for the right team.

Could mean he has a destination he likes more after #7 too. It might just mean he ain't with Indy.

Our obsession with where a guy is picked is kind of weird. The basketball situation and market is more important than a spot or three.

Well, where guys go directly affects us in the draft.

It does, but what I am saying is they likely are less obsessed with going 6/7 vs. going 9/10 to a place they prefer. It doesn't necessarily mean he is being drafted higher... just means he doesn't want to go there imo.

That and street fights and such... just seems like the off court stuff is not good. Not even sure what happened with the rape allegations... but I can't separate that mentally from my opinion of him as a basketball players.
