2023 NBA Draft Megathread

It does seem like 7-16 is flooded with combo guards/PGs....I still might prefer to get to wings with 9+16 and draft Amari Bailey at #28. I think he's a great value there.
yep. no guarantee any of them is better than bailey. his production, age and measurables stack up comparably with most of those guys.

The "we" in this tweet is Toronto Raptors. Jazz would be flipping 16 + 28 for 13 from Toronto. I'd be thrilled if we could do that.

i could see that happen. i'd probably rather no do it, but that's a trade that makes a lot of sense if you think a much better player will be there at 13 than 16. the exception for my wanting it would be if Ainge's intel makes him confident Miller (he would be that much better player) would be there at 13, but not 16

I think you could much more easily project the draft from 10-12 and come out with two prospects you love.

Saying the guard who averaged more turnovers than assist is comparable to Bufkin/JHS/Wallace is just a lulz factory (double the turnovers to assist in conference play).

I think the Jazz are hunting one or two specific guards -- Bufkin, Hood-Schifino, maybe George -- and they feel they need to move up ahead of Atlanta and New Orleans to get someone they want.

Bilal could be a possibility at #13 as well. I don't think Dallas or Orlando will take Bilal. OKC could take either Bilal or Bufkin, leaving one of them to Utah at 13.

saying the guard whose TS% was 49% is comparable to the guard whose TS% was 55% is hysterical. maybe i was being too kind by including JHS in this.

cherry picking stats us a fun exercise.
