2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Played on a team with mediocre guard play/spacing as well.

I would definitely look at JJ if we stayed at 16, but that might be too early for Utah.
A move up from 28 would be a good play for him. Just seems like a tough mother who happens to be good at basketball.

Would love to see a 3 on 3 game with Bufkin, Wallace, Podz, JHS, Jaquez and Hawkins. Pick any three to make a team - it would be a helluva game.

PLEASE WIZARDS TAKE BLACK BEFORE US
They need a playmaking wing being pegged as a floor general ? I doubt they would take him anymore than we would that high. The only two teams that might want him in the top 11 imo are Orlando at 11 with both twins already gone, and them retaining Fultz, Suggs and Anthony to handle guard duty. Even then unlikely they want him.The other is Houston with two on ball creators and shooters in Green and KPJ in the starting 5 already. But him going 4th is pretty unlikely requiring a Houston trade down and unlikely with better options on the board to stay at 4. I guess you could talk me into the possibility that Dallas takes him at 10 but even that seems unlikely. The odds we draft him are not more than 20% imo. and that is being generous. But if we do, he won't be the pg he will have to have proven to instead have suddenly become a floor spacer at an elite level to show any promise of the 9th being worth his average at best upside as is.

Our guy TJ on Bill Riley today... didn't give much intel but said something kinda wild... says if Jarace Walker hits 100% of his potential that he could be Kawhi Leonard.

I don't see it but thought it was fun.

TH throws that Kawhi comp a little too loosely. Last year during the Gobert trade talks he said Hunter could become our Kawhi if he hit his full potential.

Man, I really like listening to Caitlin Cooper about draft prospects. She sees the game at such a much higher level than I ever could. (Lot of stuff on guys the Jazz could be interested in):

She's super bright... and really digs into it.

The other day I heard Locke say if he hits his potential he could be another Draymond.
that I can see because of the passing and his body type. Like if he can shoot it and he is like 80-90% of Draymonds defense and passing then he's like all-star level dude.

I've just heard the next Draymond thing for a while.
