We just drafted his doppelganger in the NBA draft at 9. Why would we want to create a potential barrier to minutes for Hendricks?

We have no desire to move Kelly Olynyk. We love him and he's a great culture guy and a better player for our team than John Collins.

So in light of all this you have to blow us away for taking him on in a straight dump. If you want KO, that will cost even more.

We will consider adding Sexton if you meet our pick demands.

I didn't see that in your posts in this thread regarding getting Collins.
Seemed like you were saying we actually get an asset from them not give them gay.

It was just a joke and yes I thought we could get an asset with him. We didn’t but that doesn’t change the fact that I like the deal.

I like Collins next to Lauri and Kessler barring the contract. I also like Collins not on Atlanta. I think he can provide more.

This move made more sense before the draft. Now I am left confused. Also, I would think we could have received more for the salary space in other moves so it feels like it kills our flexibility a bit. Having said that... it will be fun watching a lineup with:

Kessler
Collins
Hendricks
Lauri
 Dunn

Switchable, long, defensive minded, tough, with plenty of scoring ability.

you will literally never see that lineup.
 
I wonder... I wonder if the Collins move and other stuff we've done makes it more likely we go after FVV or less. I also hadn't considered what his market is as far as teams. Houston drafted Amen, Orlando drafted Black, LA really doesn't have space unless they do some work... maybe a sign and trade if they can send back Beasley/Vando/and some stuff to Toronto? Does he go back to Toronto...

You’re going to like what I’m about to say… if we move Ochai to the bench and got someone else at SG that could be a sneaky good team.

I'm not high on FVV at all. But if it's cheapish I might reconsider and so should the Jazz. Assuming better options aren't possible.
