What does Reaves give the Jazz that Frank Jackson, Shaq Harrison or Emmanuel Mudiay don't other than an expensive price tag?
A better player. What does Reaves give the Jazz that Frank Jackson, Shaq Harrison or Emmanuel Mudiay don't other than an expensive price tag?
yesCan we still make a serious bid for Reeves after the Collins trade?
Reeves / Keyonte
Ochai / Sensabaugh
Markkanen
Collins / Hendricks
Kessler
Young. Hungry. Team.
What if someone buys them dinner? Then what, we're just a young team? That's a bit risky. Can we still make a serious bid for Reeves after the Collins trade?

Didn’t you see that tweet about he Lakers drafting JHS as an insurance policy on Reeves?I want to personally apologize to everyone for this thread of false hope
We can still throw the max at him if THT and Clarkson opt out...I want to personally apologize to everyone for this thread of false hope
Let’s do that.We can still throw the max at him if THT and Clarkson opt out...
For a proven starting point guard in this league? I think that’s reasonable.I'm not so sure I want Reaves at 25/yr, though.
No. Said they drafted him because they have similar intangibles/skillsets (like you want multiple of those and JHS plays better D)Didn’t you see that tweet about he Lakers drafting JHS as an insurance policy on Reeves?
So lose two good players for no shot at Reaves? We can still throw the max at him if THT and Clarkson opt out...
I mean... if they've decided to opt out, we might lose them anyways... I guess it would depend on what indication they give to the FO when they opt out and if they have any interest in re-signing or would rather pursue contracts elsewhere... and of course it would depend on whether the FO wants to offer them new contracts at the pricepoints they are looking to get.So lose two good players for no shot at Reaves?
Maybe, I'm not 100% sold on him, to be honest. But in any case I think LAL will match whatever, so I'm thinking let Rockets do the offer sheet job.For a proven starting point guard in this league? I think that’s reasonable.
I would be shocked if THT opted out. Nothing suggests he doesnt like it here and that new CBA puts a squeeze on the mid tier players who hit FA. They wont be able to use FA to cash in like they used to since there is much less money and competition for those guys. Lots of guys who used to hit FA will now rather ask sign and trade deals if they are not getting extension offers, which is a win-win situation for the team and the player.I mean... if they've decided to opt out, we might lose them anyways... Of all the things in your arsenal to apologize and you choose this?I want to personally apologize to everyone for this thread of false hope
