You know, Mitchell probably deserves more praise for not demanding a trade specifically to the Knicks and wrecking all of our leverage.

Donovan's camp reportedly requested New York or Miami. The Jazz told him they'd try, but that they'd do what's best for the organization. Now he's in Cleveland. Jazz's leverage came from the fact that Donovan was under contract for 3 more seasons before his player option.

Dame has 4 years left on his current deal, plus extension. Wherever Portland sends him, he's going to be stuck for a while.

Portland just signed Jerami Grant for too much money yesterday. Dame requests a trade today. Lame.

Portland is going into rebuild no matter what. They can slow-walk the Dame situation like Philadelphia did with Ben Simmons if they want to.

Now is the time to give Reaves the biggest offer possible.
They could theoretically modify the Collins deal and fold in KO or THT and more draft compensation. They would stay under the tax and still be off of Collins’ long money. And KO in particular would be useful for them.

Well, they could, if not signed, but really bad for future business. I thjnk many would understand.
Find a doctor that will fail his physical… it will actually end up being tradeable. Someone will talk themselves into him.

So far so good for Jazz and Ainge
They still have some money and tradable contracts to work with
They could still do more to get better
