I'm surprised no one has posted it yet.

I think if the right situation came along, whatever that is," he said before pausing to ponder. "I don't know what the right situation is. We'll have to wait and see, I guess."

"My energy level has changed a great deal since I quit coaching," said Sloan, who is an avid walker. "It's changed a lot now. I've had time to work out. I feel better.

I doubt he goes to Sacramento though. I can only see him going to an established team that already has all the right pieces in place.

If D'Antoni doesn't turn things around in New York fast, I could see The Knicks making a play for him. The general consensus in NYC is The Knicks have all the pieces to be a top 5 team; but people are beginning to question whether or not D'Antoni has the leadership skills to bring this team to the next level (they're right). Plus James Dolan poshers himself as a blue collar type even though he was born on 3rd base with 25 silver spoons in his mouth - I'm sure he'd love to have a guy like Sloan on his payroll.

I just hope Jerry has the sense to say no.

Of course they do. They have their heads so far up their asses out there that they can suckle their own uvulas. Not only do they perpetually believe their team to be better than it actually is, they believe they have some birthright as a fanbase for their fantasies to be reality.

**** the Knicks. **** them now, and forever.

I don't know why Jerry would want to go through the grind of being an NBA head coach again. Plus, you have to deal with spoiled players like Deron.

c. anthony would demand a trade before sloan arrives.

I would love to see Sloan go to OKC. Maybe he could get Westrbook to play like an actual PG.

Yep. David Lee. Ever hear anything about him anymore? Nope. NY hype.

Don't agree.

If Sloan is getting that itch to coach again I think this is the kind of team he would want to coach.

I remember Sloan saying one time the most enjoyment he ever got from coaching was the year after Stockton and Malone because it gave him a chance to teach the game he loves. Sloan would have a hell of a lot to teach this young talented team.

We would then find out what Cousins is made of. The offense would be run through him. If Cousins listens and does what Sloan asks of Cousins he could turn into a great player, or will he wilt under Sloan's no nonsense my way or the highway coaching style, and become the head case PKM says is not the case.

I believe this is the kind of job he would want.

Sloan will not be able to do anything at this point without ownership backing him 100%. There are going to be a lot of players that aren't into his style, and his defensive philosophy is staggeringly outdated.

I remember watching the pre game show before the Jazz first game after the Stockton Malone era. They showed a clip of Sloan talking to his players, one thing he said was that the experts were saying the jazz would be the worst team in the league. Sloan went on to say that if they (the jazz) would work hard play good defense and listen to him they would have a lot more success then what was being predicted by the experts. The jazz much to the surprise of everyone ended the season with a winning record and just missing the playoffs.

think what he could do for the Kings if they would just do what Sloan told them to do.

Sooooo, you don't like The Knicks?

I like that they offset their innate advantage in free agency with sending all of their young players and picks away. Because to them, the regular rules don't apply because they are THE KNICKS. They won a championship 40 years ago. Birthright.

"Sloan is reconsidering returning to NBA"

....yeah, right. And I'm considering tattooing my body from head to toe....with a nice big one on my neck that says "hip hop rules!"
