Following potential 2012 draftees

^

I expect at least three or four of the projected top 16, or so, to come back. Some guys who are projected in the teens could not only use another year to develop their game but could improve their draft stock 5-10 spots.

Or they could lower their draft stock to high potential incoming freshman.

Have a good time bluenote. Should be a very good game. Whatever the line is, I'll take the under. :p

I like games like this when scouting because you've got good competition to gauge the performance. I'll be very interested in your take as to how Trey does against Jordan Taylor.

Taylor (Wisconsin Sr. PG) vs Burke (Michigan Fr. PG)
Senior versus freshman - you wouldn't recognize it except for the 15 lbs of bulk/muscle that Jordan Taylor seemed have on TreyBurke. I think Burkes current size keeps him from driving and finishing a little more than he would like to, but I could see him matching Taylors size in a couple years. Both players had strong poise and leadership skills. Really impressed with Burkes defense on Taylor - even though he was smaller, he made him alter his shot many times. I think both players missed 2-3 shots they should have made but that's the way it goes. Burke played with a ton of intensity and determination and out hustled Taylor on a few occasions.

Michigan wins by 18 and Burke wins the matchup by a nose. Not bad for a freshman going against a more experience point guard. Watch out for this kid. Worst case scenario he is an Eric Maynor - best case he is Kevin Johnson

Damian Lilliard- 38 points 8-14 from 3. He is shooting 91% from the line and 48% from 3 and averaging 6 boards and almost 4 assists. Don't know why he isn't getting much love on here or around the country. I expect him to shoot up the boards as we get closer to the draft

His draft stock will probably be dependent on if he is able to get into the NCAA tourney and make some noise.

Broken record, I know, but Damian has NEVER played a ranked team, ever. Makes it hard, for me, to gauge his ability to play at the next level.

I've been giving him some love on here. Like PKM say, hard to judge him since the talent he plays against isn't that good. Having seem him play in person, I think that he's a very good talent, I like him more than I liked Stuckey coming out of Eastern Washington.
