I just checked Risacher's stats in France. OK...that's better than I expected after the complete disappointmen he was last summer.

I guess he's another one I will have to watch...

I'm watching a bit of Buzelis with Gleague Ignite. His defensive awareness is pretty poor, he doesn't move well laterally, and he's pretty soft in general. Just not much of a defensive presence to speak of. Offensively, he floats around the perimeter waiting for someone to hand him the ball. He's not very involved. He doesn't look like he's fully adjusted to NBA speed.

This guy has a ways to go.

One thing I have noticed about players that are tall young. They develop a bad habit of letting people past because they use to be able to block them. They rely way to much on this instead of playing good positional defense.

Or being tall just makes it harder to move latteraly

Damn it, I have been avoiding this thread (not ever even opening it) but I will have to start paying some attention to it soon I guess.

Go watch Reed Sheppard from Kentucky… he playing right now.

Eventually Cal is going to need to start his best players unless he wants to keep having chances of being upset by mid majors at home

It’s so obvious that Dillingham and Shep are better than the starters. He yanked em quick in the second half. I do like the way his team plays this year. Ball moves well. This Penn team actually seems solid. That Slacker kid is a full on **** flipper… has thrown some nonsense at the rim that goes in.

I mean, maybe he is John
Look I said TJ McConnell with a jumper but I think he’s bigger and a better vertical athlete for sure. Like his movements are just so spot on.

Wagner is a solid guard. Reeves is an experienced vet who can shoot.

Thiero and Edwards are just absolute zeros on offense. Against these midmajors they can out athlete and outsize guys, but against top competition they are going to be weak spots and UK is probably going to find their strength is like 3 or 4 guard lineups w/ Mitchell and Bradshaw.
