...that the people of Gaza want. As I've told Mongoose, surrender is how wars end. If the Gazans want an end to war then they need to do what ends wars. So long as the Gazans prefer war to a permanent cessation of hostilities then they own the consequences of that chosen path. They are the primary victims of the conflict.
What are the conditions of the surrender?Surrender is how wars end. If they want an end to war then do what ends wars.
It is important to know how fake this narrative is. The border crossings are open for aid deliveries. If you showed up with a big truck full of food for the Gazans, the Israeli soldiers would inspect the load to make sure there were no weapons and then waive you into Gaza. It isn’t hard to get aid through the checkpoint and into Gaza. That official told reporters that the U.S. continues to push Israel to allow more aid into Gaza by land, saying it's the "most-efficient, cost-effective" option.
The U.N.'s World Food Program (WFP) announced Tuesday that it was pausing deliveries of food aid to the north of Gaza "until conditions are in place that allow for safe distribution." … "Several trucks were looted between Khan Yunis and Deir al Balah and a truck driver was beaten. The remaining flour was spontaneously distributed off the trucks in Gaza City, amidst high tension and explosive anger," WFP said in a statement. "The decision to pause deliveries to the north of the Gaza Strip has not been taken lightly, as we know it means the situation there will deteriorate further and more people risk dying of hunger."

It would likely be along the lines of all hostages being freed, all Hamas members being subjected to a system of justice, a complete disarmament of the enclave, and acceptance of an Israeli force to temporarily provide security while the civilizational infrastructure was reconstructed. What are the conditions of the surrender?
Interesting.... Did the US surrender to Afghanistan? Has the Taliban been in charge since 2021? That would actually explain a lot about some of our current policies.Surrender is how wars end. If they want an end to war then do what ends wars.
I had no idea you were FrenchSurrender is how wars end. If they want an end to war then do what ends wars.
The fighting in Afghanistan continued until the ANDSF surrendered to the Taliban and then the war in Afghanistan stopped. Surrender is how wars end. If Gaza wants an end to war then they need to do what ends wars.Did the US surrender to Afghanistan?
Israel is attacking gaza. Maybe there are Republican and Democratic Israelis and if so, then by all means hit them with some blame. Also throw a bunch of blame at Hamas.Caitlin Johnstone certainly summed it up-
“The difference between Republicans and Democrats is that Republicans want to keep destroying Gaza because they love killing Muslims, whereas Democrats want to keep destroying Gaza because something something it’s all Netanyahu’s fault anyway hey let’s go back to talking about Trump.”

Why would Gazans trust the IDF to act in good faith? It would likely be along the lines of all hostages being freed, all Hamas members being subjected to a system of justice, a complete disarmament of the enclave, and acceptance of an Israeli force to temporarily provide security while the civilizational infrastructure was reconstructed.

Washington Post reports that there were over 100 other arms deals for "lethal aid" that have been sent to Israel since Oct 7th.
"Over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 71,000 wounded in Gaza since October 7, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which says about 70% of the casualties are women and children. Despite the massive civilian casualty rate, the US is looking to give Israel another $14 billion in military aid on top of the $3.8 billion it receives each year."

US Has Approved 100 Arms Deals for Israel Since October 7 to Support Gaza Slaughter - News From Antiwar.com
The Biden administration has secretly approved more than 100 separate Foreign Military Sales to Israel since October 7 to support the mass killing of Palestinians in Gaza, The Washington Post reported on Wednesday. Because it is a possible path to a peaceful and maybe even prosperous future for their children while maintaining the status quo means dooming their children to war and starvation. Currently the Gazans are choosing the latter and demanding the world feel sorry for Gazans reaping the consequences of their own choices. Why would Gazans trust the IDF to act in good faith?
That hasn't worked so well for the West Bank.Because it is a possible path to a peaceful and maybe even prosperous future for their children while maintaining the status quo means dooming their children to war and starvation. Currently the Gazans are choosing the latter and demanding the world feel sorry for Gazans reaping the consequences of their own choices.
You are smoking crack. The average monthly income in Ramallah, West Bank is equivalent to $1,000 which is about the same as in Amman, Jordan and more than in Cairo, Egypt. The average in Gaza City is $250. If you listen to the Hamas Health Ministry, they'll tell you Gazan kids are being blown up by the thousands, but that isn't happening in Ramallah. The Palestinians living in the West Bank are free to travel to neighboring Jordan but there is a giant wall preventing the Gazans from entering Egypt. The only people who don't want the Gazans to surrender either really hate the Jews or the really hate the Gazans. That hasn't worked so well for the West Bank.

In the exchange, Bennet congratulates Biden on his speech and urges the president to keep pressing Netanyahu on growing humanitarian concerns in Gaza. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg were also part of the brief conversation.
Biden then responds using Netanyahu's nickname, saying, “I told him, Bibi, and don’t repeat this, but you and I are going to have a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting.”
An aide to the president standing nearby then speaks quietly into the president’s ear, appearing to alert Biden that microphones remained on as he worked the room.
“I’m on a hot mic here,” Biden says after being alerted. “Good. That’s good.”
Biden has become increasingly public about his frustration with the Netanyahu government’s unwillingness to open more land crossings for critically needed aid to make its way into Gaza.
In his address on Thursday, he called on the Israelis to do more to alleviate the suffering even as they try to eliminate Hamas.
“To Israel, I say this humanitarian assistance cannot be a secondary consideration or a bargaining chip,” Biden said.
Come to yahweh moment? Cmon Joe.LOL at Biden telling an Israeli PM that they are going to have a "come to Jesus meeting."
