2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Some fake trade thoughts... would Detroit do Ivey/5 for Sexton/10? Not sure where they stand on Ivey. They have cap space they can use for the differences in contract. I'm targeting Castle there. Reed would be nice too.

I think the most likely picks to move are 1, 3, 5 if we are moving up.

#10, #32, and Bryce for #5? I don't think that would be enough most years, but maybe this year especially with all the needs Detroit has.

#10 + Brice would do it. I'm not sure I'd do it as the Jazz though. You'd really need to believe in someone at #5. Detroit getting Brice and Knecht next to Fontecchio would set them up nicely.

I doubt it is enough, but would do it in a heartbeat.

Detroit needs shooting, since Duren and Ausar are non-shooters. There isn't really a bankable high-impact guy at #5 in this draft, and the trade value of the pick is a bit soft. Getting Knecht and Brice for #5 would be a good draft for them. I think the Jazz would hesitate unless they fall in love with someone.

Idk how they view Ivey, but that would be a killer deal for them IMO. Ivey is trash.

They are playing right now. After we dropped to 10 I decided not to watch. There are videos of him getting helped out of the floor. Haven't seen a video of the injury itself so far...

Man a redshirt year as a rookie likely dings his draft stock quite a bit. Sucks for him.

Wonder if he's projected to slide if it would make it easier for us to trade up with a team that doesn't want to win next year (Wizards?). Maybe SA takes him at #8 as they would be able to take the year developing their other guys and #4.
