Your reminder that red states suffered more to Covid due to their refusal to get vaccinated than blue states. I know this is a crazy concept these days, but doctors and scientists know stuff. Vaccines prevent serious illness and death. Getting vaccinated is better than getting sick.

Health officials are warning Americans not to drink raw milk as bird flu spreads through American cows. But some media figures and influencers are misleadingly suggesting that the product is safe or even healthier than traditional milk. And sales are growing.
Commentators on sites like Infowars, Gab and Rumble have grown increasingly vocal about raw milk in recent weeks. They see the government’s heightened concerns about the dangers as overreach.

“They say: ‘Bird flu in milk! Bird flu in milk! Oh, it’s the scariest thing!’” Owen Shroyer said on the April 29 episode of his “War Room” podcast from Infowars. He added: “They’ll just make raw milk illegal. That’s what this is all about.”

Public health officials have long warned Americans of the severe health risks that can come with drinking raw milk instead of pasteurized milk, which is heated to kill bacteria, viruses and other germs. Researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found more than 200 disease outbreaks linked to unpasteurized milk from 1998 to 2018, leading to 2,645 illnesses, 228 hospitalizations and three deaths…
“What you have is a bunch of right-wing influencers who know that they can build substantial audiences and retain their audiences and excite their audiences by telling them that what medical authorities are saying about raw milk, about bird flu, is not credible,” Mr. Gertz said.

What do Repubs hope to gain by badgering Fauci right now? Trump was president for all of 2020. Dr. Fauci circumvented US laws by signing the grant which paid for the gain-of-function creation of a pathogen coronavirus that escaped and killed 7 million people. He then did everything in his power to cover it up.

The more apt question is why people still support someone whose scientific endeavors killed more people than Josef Mengele.

I don’t think a Democrat would’ve embraced authoritarianism summer of 2020 by sending unidentified security forces to appear tough because governors refused to “act tough.” This was too much for me. I don’t think a Democrat would’ve told the proud boys “to stand down and stand by.”

Mandatory vaccination is a good thing folks. Vaccines are good. Let’s just clear that up. Vaccines help prevent illness/lower the severity of the illness. The right’s endorsement of conspiracy and anti-vax nonsense just goes to show how radical they’ve become and how much they’ve embraced this fantasyland where Trump didn’t suck, Trump won In 2020, and Trump is being persecuted for not good reason in 2024.

I laid out what you wanted to do, which again is what the democrats wanted to do. Shut down states for an excessive amount of time, force vaccines, not shut down travel from china, silence opinions and then do everything you tell American citizens not to do.

I don’t think a Democrat would’ve downplayed the virus for weeks and then suddenly tell Americans in Europe that all travel between the two continents would be cut off. And then once the chaos erupted, go back on that.

Trump downplayed and lied about the virus the entire time he was president because:

A) he’s stupid. Cabinet members even referred to him as a “****ing moron.”
B) he’s a narcissist that could only care about his own reelection. So that’s why he promoted quack cures like Hydroxy, flashlights, disinfectant, and horse dewormer.
C) he never could take responsibility. When times got tough, whether it be social justice issues or a pandemic, he completely faltered. We saw what he did with his first crisis, Maria. He shot paper towels at people. He makes problems worse.

The proof is in the pudding. He makes problems worse. He’s completely incapable of empathy, is too mentally handicapped to work out problems, and his personality isn’t to bring people together. He made the George Floyd death worse. He wanted to start a race war.

I agree with all this. I never blamed trump for much of anything covid related. There was no right way to handle it. Close stuff and everyone is going broke and can't pay bills and getting depressed and scared and suicidal, and anxious and tense and everyone thinks you should have done it differently.


Leave stuff open and hospitals are getting too full and people are dying (people are dying in the other scenario as well just not in similar pace or fashion) and every one thinks you should have done it differently.

In regards to covid I was mostly only critical for trumps deceit and stupid things he said and kind of being inflammatory (he is always that at all times. It's who he is and always has been). But as far as what he actually did and didn't do i don't really think even the best president of all time could have done things anywhere close to perfect
