Just like Republicans, why does Putin get to act like a belligerent child? Why do the rules apply to everyone else and he gets to do whatever he wants? Why must the world pander and coddle the guy who leads a country where only 25 percent of the population has indoor plumbing?

The way some of our posters frame things always makes America and the west look bad and Putin look strong. Instead of us escalating this invasion, why not frame it (accurately) as Putin’s invasion? Why not ask him why he’s risking escalation with the west? why not demand that he concede, pack up bags, and start hooking his people up with indoor crappers?

I know you morons believe all the lies the war machine gives you but we are arriving at the Cuban Missile crisis 2.0.
Russia has hypersonic missile technology that the US does not possess. This is in response to the US allowing missile attacks by Ukraine into Russia and the continued and foolish escalation of the war by this administration. This is dangerous and idiotic.

I'm afraid of the completely incompetent US leadership that we have. I have kids that I worry about. I feel sorry for the Americans that died and suffered needlessly for the stupidity that was the conflicts in Afghanistan, Vietnam, Syria, Ethiopia, Yemen, etc...

You are probably the kind of dumbass that daydreams about going to war with Americans and showing stupid trumpers whos boss. You probably want to burn their houses down and throw them in prison. The only people I know who dream about going to war against fellow Americans are the trumpers who watch too much Fox News and spend too much time online. They fetishize about a “national divorce” and “civil war.” Meanwhile, the rest of us are busy working, traveling throughout the country, and enjoying our families and communities.

America is an awesome country when you step away from your computer and go outside, enjoy nature, and speak with real people. The weather is nice, the economy is booming, and most of us are enjoying summer. Find a good book. If you’re interested in some suggestions, DM me. I love non-fiction and murder mystery. I recently grilled some chicken with a Kenny rogers copycat marinade. It was delicious! Brought me back to the late 90s when the Jazz were actually enjoyable to watch and Kenny Rogers Chicken had a place in Orem. Nothing beats summer!

Our leadership has done a reasonable job of helping Ukraine while being cautious about escalation. I think they've erred too far on the side of caution, especially since Putin has been exposed as not being willing to retaliate. I mean he can't. He had a better position before the invasion then now, either way the result is the same, launch nukes and the entire world dies. He can make that decision whenever he wants to die along with all of the rest of us.

You're assumptions about who I am and what I want are incorrect.

Putin is the frog in the boiling pot. The heat is being turned up slowly enough that Putin has not jumped. It is foolish to think he isn't capable of jumping. It is equally foolish to think you know more than the experts who have set the rate at which the heat is being increased.

America sucks.

My $800,000 dollar house isn’t even worth $1 million. My two year $90,000 truck isn’t brand new and my boat isn’t as big as an aircraft carrier. My kids all hold computers and my wife can’t go to get a manicure everyday. I saw a rainbow flag today too and it made me so angry! How dare gays exist! America sucks! We need fascism. I definitely have it worse than my grandparents who survived the Great Depression and my ancestors who crossed the plains in handcarts!

He'd rather be a Russian where they treat the world with morality and respect, the citizens are free to criticize their government, and the elections are free and fair. Oh and have you seen their shopping centers? Groceries are so cheap! Their subway stations are adorned with beautiful art and the trains run on time.
