Damn, I liked Castle but now I know he had one bad shooting warmup on some random game day last year I'm totally out.
 
I would be more concerned if Castle was a lights out shooter in warmups but then suddenly couldnt shoot when the games started. He was a bad shooter, we all know that. The point is he is getting better.
 
Yeah, if it took you that podcast clip to be concerned about Castle's shooting.....I think you were ignoring a huge problem. He's guarded like Ben Simmons and shot 27% from 3. Of course it was a big concern.

It was good enough to be the third best shooting performance at the combine. It was the same for everybody.

We all saw that he wasn't just a bad shooter but more importantly - he was reluctant shooter in college. This would be a problem if it continues. My point about the combine was - maybe he's been working on it and he's getting more confident with it. We won't know for sure until at the very least the summer league(at least about the willingness to shoot), but I definitely prefer him killing the shooting workout at the combine than still being bad at it.

You literally are the same person who dropped Topic from like 3rd to 20th due to his wingspan that you correctly argued was incorrect to begin with lmao.

I think my argument was he passes up shots as part of the game plan. I am not shaken on him really at all but I just didn't love that comment.

Its really just to show how good they really are. I watched Robert Swift bomb threes in a league. Most of these guys should be draining threes open gym even if they aren't shooters.

Castle would have been shooting from college. I know I don't shoot 80% from nba three in part (except for the corners maybe) because I tracked it years ago when I was playing in a league that used an nba three point line. Most courts I play are lined for HS... I'd be comfortable shooting deep HS threes at close to 80% in open gym. I'll shoot a video for you someday maybe... thats a lot of work.

The key thing that lets you know he is full of **** is the without a rebounder part.
