He was a massive part of it brother. I doubt Lauri becomes an all-star if the Jazz dont have that winning stretch to start the year and that stretch doesnt happen without Conley, so you are wrong

Wasn’t Rudy Gay on that team too? Guess we go build him a statue. Yes, Conley does help winning which is why saving Minnesota was a mistake. But, Lauri’s breakout is because of Lauri.

Ok now you're just being a dumbass. Congrats.

We wouldn't be hurting Lauri with the trade. He gets his money sooner and he goes where he can win. Plus we get some high quality shots with those picks too.

It's basically impossible to hurt Lauri with a trade. Anywhere he goes will be a contender and he will get paid by someone either this year or next. His feelings are safe.

lol now that it’s a 2x4 to the dome you think it’s a tone change? It had already changed and this is the natural progression.
The tone even during February DL was that if you make offer big enough, DA will take it.

The best argument you could make here would be that DA pushed the Bridges offer up to actually get the Lauri offer he wanted to receive all along. I would probably buy that.

I didn't think it had. Like I said before, if the media would stop mentioning a Lauri trade without the caveat of "it's not gonna happen", I would feel like something has changed. We had heard that teams were calling, but the Jazz were not interested and it was not happening for a long, long time.

Quin has never won without Rudy Gobert and they passed on getting the closest proximity to Gobert in the draft. They are a play in team at best again and the East is powering up.
But while a play-in team pick is fine and all, I don't see it as enough to tempt me to move Lauri. I don't really see any way Atlanta are really bad.

Not sure it’s possible for anyone else to be a dumbass on this board with you hogging it all up.

For a few days now you insult anyone who doesn’t agree with you. And this time, by your logic we should never of traded Conley because keeping him makes other people All Stars. Lauri broke out the summer before he joined the Jazz and kept it rolling with his new team. Lauri is all star level with or without Conley.

No my logic was we kept Conley and Conley boosted his own value along with everyone else by making the Jazz look like winners. It's a fact. You just sound like a dumbass, I'm sorry. You fail to understand some pretty clear logic and are getting weird about Lauri's improvement being just him? I dont care how good Lauri's stats are, if the team isnt winning he isnt an All-Star (like this past season). Being an all-star matters. Winning matters. It raises value. It's common sense.

Where did the Collier and Flip picks come from? Were they part of the Rudy or Donovan trade?

Lauri definitely struggled and was a bit frustrated post ASB/Conley trade, he definitely made it easier for him. But Lauri did have his Euro breakout before talking into training camp with the Jazz.

I think it's also fair that Conley was uniquely set to help Lauri pop off even more. Lauri is a shot finisher at heart, Conley wouldn't "make" many other players elevate their stats as much

San Antonio has a very good collection of juicy picks that aren’t theirs. I think I like their potential package the best at the moment unless Houston is willing to trade a blue chip prospect with a bunch of future picks.

Lowe mentioning it unprompted is a lot different than McMahon talking about it on a pod when asked what’s going on in Utah and him saying “he’s available if the Thunder want to give J dub and 5 picks”. That’s essentially a **** off… listening was a tone change. Lowe isn’t a rumor monger… him mentioning it how and when he did was an absolute change.

It changed when Bridges was moved for likely a variety of reasons.
