Sure, but that's a bit of a different scenario. The Jazz want to extend Lauri. That's not how Danny operates. He can hold for ages to get what he wants. We saw that with Mitchell's trade.

The market may dictate this one though. If GS can't get it done then they move on to other things. We then turn our attention to re-negotiation. I think there is a window here. That's not how Danny operates. He can hold for ages to get what he wants. We saw that with Mitchell's trade.
And we are talking about being on the fence for a full load from the Warriors. They probably arent offering the full load.
Yeah, because he isnt coming back. The idea is that Utah wants to extend Lauri, so if the deals arent there I dont think they are just going to keep Lauri waiting. It takes time, Golden State has been in Klay trade talks in the meantime.
Sir... respectfully... you have heard of Danny Ainge right? They definitely are not. If Kuminga is in the deal, we might only be seeing 1-2 picks if we’re being honest.
They can't extend him before August 7th(per @Elizah Huge )... so the Jazz HAVE TO wait if they want to renegotiate and extend Lauri. And teams can try to change Ainge's mind in the meantime.Sure, but that's a bit of a different scenario. The Jazz want to extend Lauri.
Jazz will need to pay someone money to be at the salary floor.Kuminga is a good player but will be in the final year of his rookie deal, are we offering him a rookie max extension?
I don’t care much for Kuminga anyway. They definitely are not. If Kuminga is in the deal, we might only be seeing 1-2 picks if we’re being honest.
Lol. You’re basing this off of what DA precedence?I see a deal with Kuminga, Moody, 1 unprotected first and a swap or so coming. And we'll all be pissed off. And probably the Warriors fans too.
Sir... respectfully... you have heard of Danny Ainge right?
They were never a prime location prior to Curry and I have my doubts if it will be after.Unless San Francisco has teleported to Nebraska I think they are safe.
Honestly... If he is routed to a third team for the type of value some think he carries here... great... I'd rather have whatever that team is offering.I don’t care much for Kuminga anyway.
Silicon Valley Tech Boom happened. It might not be LA/Miami, but it's probably in the running for third most appealing city for NBA players. They were never a prime location prior to Curry and I have my doubts if it will be after.
I'll take the firsts. Kuminga is interesting but nah... he's still to theoretical to me.I have…but Kuminga is like 3 bad firsts on his own or more. If I said 4-5 first round picks or whatever, no one would blink an eye. People get too caught up in the quantity of picks. We’re talking about a high quality player and high quality picks.
Kuminga is the equivalent of like... Sexton or Lauri in the Mitchell trade. Meaning... good things to have as salaries coming your way... but don't fool yourself that you won't need to give up tons of picks too...Have people seriously not paid attention to how DA operates. I promise you if the package is Kuminga a first and a swap then we will continue to enjoy the services of Lauri or find a different team.
Does that change the weather? San Francisco/Oakland is slightly miserable, IMO. State taxes are also extremely high.Silicon Valley Tech Boom happened. It might not be LA/Miami, but it's probably in the running for third most appealing city for NBA players.
