We don’t need to be top 1-3 bad just 5-7 bad. I could be wrong but teams in the 5-7 range seem to move up a lot.

The idea was that if we kept him Detroit was going to overpay him to take him. We kind of screwed him financially by trading him.

Yeah, the writing has been on the wall since the Bridges trade to me, but just a comment about getting his guy after all the talk when Bryant signed with the Knicks years ago

NBA GMs need a timeout… someone should have come with a 4/40M deal… including the Pistons.

I just don’t buy the company line on that one. They were gonna do like 4/60? And then settled on 2/16?

Pros are that he gets to hit UFA market earlier where he can actually get paid.

They can do anywhere between 15-24M. So yes.
