Salt Lake City Summer League, July 8-10

Ware had 26 and 11 against the Kings
Looks extremely long out there and can get up quickly even if he looks kind of awkward in a crowd. The shot looks way worse than I expected, but if he just sticks to the inside game and fills out he can be pretty good. Just dont see him working out as a unicorn type and sometimes these guys want that too badly.

I am so looking for the head to head comparisons.

Kessler vs Filipowski - defense vs offense. Rim protector vs supposed shooter

George vs Collier - scoring vs passing. Shooting vs rim attacking.

Hendricks vs Williams - defense vs all around. Shooting vs facilitation.

The appeal of Filipowski should really be floor spacing and ball movement. He's ideally a complementary offensive player, like an Al Horford, but the spacing and movement he creates should help guys like Keyonte and Collier get all the way to the rim. Another guy who might feast is Lofton with his bullyball. Filipowski just needs to show he can make enough of this attempts to draw a defender.

Williams might need some time to adjust to the speed and physicality of the NBA. He hasn't looked like he's quite ready for it physically. Don't be surprised if he looks like he's a step or two behind.

I got a single ticket for Day 1 for around $20. I'm taking my nephew to Day 2, also around $24 per ticket (Row 11).

I have an extra single ticket for Day 2 and Day 3 if someone wants it.

Wonder if Ethan Thompson is going to get a real shot with the NBA this year. Rapid improvement in the G League over the past three years. 27 and 22 points in the two summer league games so far.

Sure he will get a 2 way somewhere

Replace "will" with "may". Or are you confident Kessler is going to give Big Zach the work?
I am confident that Zack will struggle against Kessler. Almost everyone on the NBA struggles with Kessler on them. Kessler is one of the very best defenders in the NBA.
