In America? Why? Seems like weak leadership to me. Standing with an ally in Europe is good, yet standing with your ally in the Middle East is bad?
Or just on the Democratic side? I can’t imagine the Republicans would sit this one out.
So if tomorrow an ally dropped a nuke on India and killed hundreds of millions then standing by them would good?

The context in the two conflicts right now are a bit different. Ukraine was invaded by a much more powerful country, who also happens to be one of our biggest enemies, with the intent to conquer them.
Israel was attacked by a terrorist organization and killed hundreds of innocent people. Israel then obliterated 10's of thousands of innocent people in retaliation.
Now I'm not saying we shouldn't stand with Israel. What I am saying is that I would hope that American leadership would look at the context in conflicts to aid in decision making.
Weak leadership to me would be going along with something just because you always had in the past. Seems kinda strong to go against the typical thinking.
Again, I'm not saying that boycotting this is the right thing. I'm just saying that it isn't the wrong thing just because Israel is an ally. Imo an ally can be in the wrong sometimes and when they are, our leadership should probably make it known that they are.
