Can his defense be at least as good as Olynyk? I doubt his shooting will be and probably not his passing yet. But he does have a few tools he doesn't.

I think he'll shoot worse percentages from 3 but I doubt he'll be as afraid to shoot as Olynyk so that's an improvement to the offense.

His rebounding was below average compared to other C prospects and he has a tiny wingspan and standing reach for a C. But sure, pull the stereotype card. Did I stereotype him by saying he has quick feet?

I think if Kyle succeeds, it will most likely be as a 3rd big with some versatility as to who he can play with. He probably will probably always be lacking in important areas to be a full fledged starters. He's the 32nd pick of a draft. If he becomes a long term NBA player he's exceeded expectations.

flip will never be a big 3 (small forward). his handle is good for a center maybe power forward, never small forward. the best athletes in the world play small forward in the nba.

He's got a lot of talent as a stretch-shooting, playmaking big. The other thing that's really impressive about Flip is his ability to guard switches. He can step out on the perimeter defensively.

I love the part where he is like "man it's nice to be in a quiet backyard in my mansion after being in a loud gym all day, play a game with a ball. I mean, that definitely makes you need to relax after that 3 hour practice, or whatever." (paraphrased of course)

He’s beginning to stroke the 3 comsistently.

Develop a decent defensive game and he could turn into a Monster in a couple of years.

Flip shooting 40% from deep over the long-term would be a huge deal. Long-term he would pair really nicely with Kessler as part of a 3-4 man front-court rotation.

I didn't love the pick on draft night (the value was clear, I just don't like Dukies on principle) but hard to argue he doesn't look like a top 10 player from this draft, minimum.

Flip actually has a chance to be a pretty significant offensive player. Along with having a handle, passing and shooting touch, he's decently athletic. He also makes reads and good decisions.
