Another thing to think about is what is the worst-case scenario for each candidate.
For Kamala the worst case is a lame-duck presidency where she kind of doesn't do much of anything. I am expecting something like this. Mostly lame-duck with a few surprises that we didn't expect, like maybe she shows she is a better diplomat than we expected, or maybe she gets some minor bi-partisan thing passed. But generally not much happening is likely her worst case. She isn't a dreaded and terrifying *gasp* "socialist", so we don't have much to worry about there, and she just doesn't have the clout to push much through of consequence. So she might surprise with some kind of executive order or other unexpected thing, but for the most part she is likely to be just boring and not do much.
For Trump the worst case is the continued erosion of our liberties and the continued deconstruction of all of our social platforms. I could see him do what he had to in order to increase the tax cuts for the rich and make them permanent. Then we can add even more to the national debt because huge businesses and billionaires continue to pay a far lower percent in taxes than regular folks, so the middle class gets to eat it again. I could also see him working to extend his term beyond 4 years and, frankly, the worst case scenario there is he refuses to leave office and uses his hand-picked supreme court to support him in that as any suit brought against him, or charge, is buried under the "it's an official act of the president" pile of ****. Civil war is another possible worst case, but I see that more likely if he loses the vote.
For RFK worst case is he starts to propagate the brain worm that is controlling him, giving one to everyone in America, so the aliens can take over much more quickly.
How do you all envision the worst case for each one?
