Just a reminder to some of you out there, elections have consequences. If the election were held today, we’d be inaugurating President Harris this coming January. It’ll be fun to see the polls after her convention.

Time to bury Donald and his MAGA movement.

Some of these economic ideas have been discussed for decades. I don’t know if it’s good or bad. Ultimately, I think I come down to tips being stupid. It seems like we’re letting business owners be cheap asses while turning servers into table flipping machines.

How does the rest of the world survive without tipping? Do they just not have restaurants or hospitality services?

In SK, service workers are just paid by their employers. There is (was as of 2014) no tipping culture.

Tipping culture is uniquely American and a few smaller countries. But the vast majority of the developed world do not tip. It just isn't a thing. In Germany the norm was no tipping at all, except for exemplary service but even then it was on the order of 5%, not trying to gouge you for 30%. It is ridiculous and needs to stop here as well. Just pay people what they are worth, raise prices to cover it, and be done with it. So stupid. It is literally a hold-over from mob-run restaurants during the great depression who stopped paying workers and "encouraged", in a mobster sort of way, their customers to tip instead so they could keep their doors open when everyone else were shutting down. Soon everyone saw this could be done everywhere and exceptions were added to minimum wage laws when those became a thing. It's stupid and yet another place we lag behind the rest of the developed world.
 
This is great, if you want Harris to win. Trump now claiming photos of Harris airport crowd are AI. How detached from reality will he go? The “talk my own reality into existence” worked great at times. The Big Lie is proof of that. But things like this can really only appeal to conspiracists. Like the press conference on Friday, this is not the way to go, but keep it up.

She’s a CHEATER. She had NOBODY waiting, and the “crowd” looked like 10,000 people! Same thing is happening with her fake “crowds” at her speeches. This is the way the Democrats win Elections, by CHEATING – And they’re even worse at the Ballot Box. She should be disqualified because the creation of a fake image is ELECTION INTERFERENCE. Anyone who does that will cheat at ANYTHING!

It does look fake though. But you know what? **** it, play his game. Kamala is playing this totally differently than Joe would have. It's about time the D's go on the offensive.

I have seen trumpers complain about Harris lack of speaking and answering questions.

She definitely has him way off balance. He’s floundering, and I think it’s somehow more noticeable, even though his behavior seems long since normalized, for him; we might still get to the stage where more realize the emperor has no clothes. He’s floundering for the spotlight, but his material sucks.

Yeah, it did look off somehow, but the video shows it was a good turnout..
