Donald is about to go through some things...

Boy, that’s a lot of fibs!

“There were a host of false things that Donald Trump said during his hour-long news conference Thursday that have gotten attention.

A glaring example is his helicopter emergency landing story, which has not stood up to scrutiny.

But there was so much more. A team of NPR reporters and editors reviewed the transcript of his news conference and found at least 162 misstatements, exaggerations and outright lies in 64 minutes. That’s more than two a minute. It’s a stunning number for anyone – and even more problematic for a person running to lead the free world”.

(lol, ya think??)

Just before posting this, I saw Hannity of Fox say: “Kamala Harris cannot win if America knows who she is”. Ha ha. Right now Donald Trump is showing the entire world who he is, a ridiculously insecure child….The contrast between the happy warriors and the ever cheerful Trump is pure gold. The man is just remarkably stupid!

As David Frum put it: “There’s an old joke about the fool at the poker table: If you don’t know who it is, it’s you”.

“Huge crowds have gathered for her, sizzling with enthusiasm. How did that happen? Through the alchemy of politics, an alchemy that invites people to see themselves in a political champion, that depends heavily on selective availability. A champion who’s too invisible fades from mind, as Biden did during his presidency. Too visible, and the champion can become overdefined, in ways that may alienate reachable voters. This is Trump’s problem. For all his jibes at her intellect, Harris is managing the mystery appeal effectively. Whereas Trump, who endlessly congratulates himself on his MIT-professor uncle’s brains, is fast arriving at the “Will you please shut up?” phase of his political descent.

Meandering, solipsistic, and crushingly boring—the interview was an awful premonition of the rest of Trump’s life should he lose again, in November: wandering the corridors of his clubs, going from table to table, buttonholing the dwindling number of guests, monologuing relentlessly until they squirm away”.

Leaving the real world far far behind. This is his idea of a winning strategy against Harris: advertise his own stupidity, and his detachment from the real world that the rest of us inhabit….

Definition of pathological liar there. He would rather lie when the truth would suit him better. We have a person adjacent to our family (a baby-mama I guess you would say), who is like this. Lies when the truth is easier, better and faster. Cannot help herself. It was infuriating at first. Now we just expect it and roll with it when she comes to family gatherings. But there is absolutely zero trust within the family, no one can believe anything she says. It is so weird seeing that in a public official like the Rapist. He cannot be allowed back in the white house.

Love Robert Reich. Has a good head for politics and a great way of simplifying complex topics so most anyone can understand.

The terrifying thing is how many people believe him. We have already been seeing my wife's facebook connections posting that Kamala needs to be arrested because she wants to make it legal to kill babies, and the telephone game is in full swing, we have seen claims they want to allow killing babies up to 2 years old!

I guess The Rapist had sudden onset lisp going on in the Musk interview:

  • John Doe12h

It's not the fact of the lisp; it's the fact that he recently developed it. The question, of course, is whether it is a sign of cognitive decline, or a physical issue like Bell's palsy, Parkinson's, etc.

The speech impediment was new and striking. There have been moments like this in his rallies. But this was a rapid, full on deterioration of his speech. I do not believe he has dentures. It has been pointed out previously that he has implants or at least capped teeth. There is grave concern that Trump, like Biden, is in mental decline and not able to conduct a campaign, let alone, govern for 4 years starting 5 months from now until age 82. His running mate is scary and off putting. The Republicans ought to figure out what to do and fast! They may even consider a stealth concession of the race.

I love how Elmo had all this time to fix Spaces on Xitter from the DeSantis debacle and yet it still sucked. He’s such a moron. You couldn’t give me a Tesla. I’ll take my reliable Toyota hybrid and be on my way.

Go woke go broke!

That would be different. Candidate suffers nervous breakdown in October.

“Instead he's taken to howling at the wind. Furious that Harris rallies might outnumber his, he's accusing her people of enhancing the numbers using artificial intelligence, claiming 'nobody was there' when pictures of a Harris rally at a Detroit airport hangar show around 10,000 present.

I yield to no one in my low regard for America's overwhelmingly partisan Democratic media, but for Trump's claim to be true they'd all have to be in on the AI conspiracy since ever major newspaper and broadcaster covered the Detroit event.

It is patently absurd, even deranged – a word quietly but increasingly being used to describe Trump, even in some Republican circles.

He has no focus on the issues which matter and could determine the election. No consistent case to justify why he should have four more years in the White House.

But he recently told supporters 'Biden was locked and loaded ready to take me out'. He's even musing out loud that Biden could turn up in Chicago to grab the nomination back from Harris. Deranged indeed.

Whisper it softly but some say his age (78) is becoming a factor, that he is now the Biden of the 2024 campaign. He slurred some words in his Musk interview. Some even speculate that he could be at risk of a breakdown.

Far-fetched, perhaps. But his core support is losing its enthusiasm. He rambles for longer and more incoherently than ever at his rallies”.

Apparently Trump compared Kamala’s beauty to Melania’s during his weirdo interview with Elmo. Cuz that’s relevant to things. And he keeps talking about how if the sea levels rise, there will be more beachfront property. Now I’m not geologist here, but won’t he opposite happen? Water covers the land. So if there’s more water won’t that mean less beachfront property?

He’s too old, can’t speak coherently, appears to be suffering from memory loss or early signs of dementia. We just can’t trust him for four more years. The job is too important. Time to reform the party and find better candidates for 2028.

Rising ocean levels doesn't create more ocean front property. It actually creates less since that would mean that the above water amount of land would be decreasing.

It was one of the dumbest things he said. This week.

Seems about right…

“Trump’s slide in the polls can be attributed to a few factors, from his terrible vice presidential pick to President Biden’s unexpected departure from the race in late June. There’s also a simpler factor at play: voters have seen Trump’s politics of rage and division before. Given a fresh choice, most Americans are eager for something — anything — new.

A new crop of national and state-level polls bear out the reality that voters are simply ready to move on from the Trump show, which they’ve now been watching for the better part of a decade. A New York Times-Siena pollreleased Saturday found Vice President Kamala Harris leading Trump 50-46 in each of the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Dig into that poll and you’ll discover the topline numbers are just the tip of a political iceberg for Republicans”.

The problem with a 2024 Biden-Trump rematch was always Biden and Trump. The former president may spend the next few months calling Harris stupid and questioning her racial identity, but none of that will change the reality that Trump is now the sole remaining actor in a play American voters are eager to stop watching. Given the choice, voters are clearly ready to vote for the only candidate who can offer them a break from their 2020 nightmare flashbacks.

And Haley predicted it…

“In one interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins this past February, Haley mused “The party that gets rid of their 80-year-old candidate is the party that will win. There will be a female president of the United States. It will either be me or it will be Kamala Harris. If Republicans nominate Donald Trump, it will be Kamala Harris”.

Yeah, Nikki may have said it off handedly, but it doesn't make it any less true.
