The guy is never healthy when it matters. Voters likely ding the team for that. It also dictates the style of play when you have him and we saw how at times on stacked rosters (like Team USA) how that hurts the team occasionally. I think it’s pretty fair as there is a drop off coming in the talent tier in a couple picks imo. 7-10ish may have an advantage in this format but 12-14 would be hosed in the other format. I think it evens things out.Getting Embiid with the 10th pick is the reason why people are saying the modified snake draft doesn't really make sense.

Nah, he's still a top 3 guy. Sip got a steal. The guy is never healthy when it matters. Voters likely ding the team for that. You mean the current MVP? Yeah, he was my other possibility, but Wemby, man.Nah, he's still a top 3 guy. Sip got a steal.
He wasn't a no brainer pick for me. I was close to taking Ant.Getting Embiid with the 10th pick is the reason why people are saying the modified snake draft doesn't really make sense.

This board still tends to punish guys they don't like unfortunately. In the all time draft I had prime Westbrook coming off the bench for 12 minutes surrounded by 2 elite shooters in Glen Rice and Drazen Petrovic along with a stretch 4 in Cliff Robinson and Mourning yet some people said they wouldn't vote for a team with Westbrook.Nah, he's still a top 3 guy. Haha, that makes me feel better. I picked while I was on the golf course and for some reason I didn't see the Ant post.Well then you would have had to pick again, because Ant was already taken, lol.
People here like Embiid. Dont think anyone hates him, but I think sometimes people weight injuries way too harshly. Anyone labeled as injury prone is looked at as automatically being injured in a lot of cases, which I think is unfair. This board still tends to punish guys they don't like unfortunately. In the regular season he’s been that… when available. In the playoffs he’s not top 3 though… he’s top 10 though.Nah, he's still a top 3 guy. Sip got a steal.
The Wemby pick a little wild. I would have considered him after SGA/Embiid/Jokic/Giannis/Luka were off the board. To me that is the clear top 5 in the NBA. After that, I would rather be picking in the 10-14 range than 6-9.You mean the current MVP? Yeah, he was my other possibility, but Wemby, man.
With Embiid and Kawhi it’s legit though. How many post seasons have those guys been close to 100% in the last 5 years? Turning off injuries would send a bunch of guys way higher and I’m not sure that’s the point of this exercise. It’s part of who those players are. It’s like turning off other attributes imo. Like I’ll take the Giannis but bad shooting is turned off.People here like Embiid. Dont think anyone hates him, but I think sometimes people weight injuries way too harshly. Honestly I would rather we kind of treat this stuff like "injuries turned off".
But I think it's fair with Russ because we've seen him ruin a team who should have won it all. Russ just isnt a guy I would take in an all-time draft becasue I dont think he makes a star loaded team better, so I get it in that case.
