Kamala Harris for Pres

So Zuckberg is just lying because he said censoring not me.
Look at how any mega-rich person reacts to anything that might knock them out of the top 10 of the billionaires list. They'll twist anything any way they can to hold onto their money hoard. Anything that is the vaguest of threats is immediately diminished in hundreds of ways, all of them lying in one form or another. Same goes for oligopolistic corporations. Anything to keep their boots on the neck of the masses to keep the money flowing. We find out damn near daily recently a new way the mega-rich and mega-corps have skirted and straight up broken the law to give their shareholders stock buy-backs. Is it such a stretch that good ole' Zuck is playing the same ****ing game?

Not sure and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised at anything really.

When Kamala has her first word salad it's going to be ugly. She should start answering press questions one or two at a time, get some word salad out of the way then do a sit down interview with Fox News.
Honest question, why?

Facts and evidences haven mattered for years in our politics. Remember Donald’s health care plan? Has it been two weeks? What about his ever changing views on abortion? They change literally by the hour with whomever he is talking to. It’s odd that republicans can ignore any policy and just throw crap on the wall about trans woke globalists elites who pornate our school libraries while Democrats are expected to carefully articulate every single policy about every single topic or else.

In a country that cares less about facts and more about vibes, I say Harris continues to ignore the media. She shouldn’t take the bait. The media is dying to try and get Trump back into this race. They want to clasp onto something she says, spin it, and help Trump out. Clicks! Horse race! Trump the comeback kid!

Yes,

Some of the speech I definitely take big issue with. But, as you all know, I'm not a moderate, or even a liberal, so this should play well with all of the undecided median voters.
She’s a regular Democrat? We agree on some things and aren’t in agreement in others? That’s politics for most of our country’s history. It’s only recently when one party decided that everything its dear leader crapped out was sacred off Mt Sinai. I’m old enough to remember Democrats disagreeing with Biden over The Green New Deal. Or Obama with Syria or the ACA.

Bingo. Adding context is not censorship.
I’ve been thinking about this.

If you’re wanting to spew nonsense, have you ever had as much freedom and as large of a platform to do so as right now? It’s odd to me that those conspiracy theorists constantly whine about freedom of speech while:
  • Whining incessantly about it on Fox News and social media. “I’m being silenced by the elites and now I’m going to cry about it to my millions of followers” seems disingenuous to me. It’s a pity more people aren’t seeing the irony.
  • Those who whine incessantly about freedom of speech are typically the first one calling for professors, teachers, doctors, etc to be fired, punished, killed, and otherwise destroyed. Think about how many lives Trump, Fox News, and libs of Tik tok destroy every single day.
I truly think we need to make social media companies responsible for the stuff they platform. They aren’t just empty spaces of the town square. They use algorithms that super charge emotions, put people in alt reality silos, and help build communities (often at net negatives with drastic social costs). They aren’t newspapers. They aren’t empty town squares. They’re something far more powerful and yet they’ve successfully up to today, avoided accountability. Not good.

We all see every day what Facebook has done to our families and communities. Look at what it’s done outside of the us:

The algorithms, a business model based on feeding consumers negative emotions, has caused thousands to be tortured, burned, and killed. Innocent children would be alive today if Mark Zuckerberg hadn’t prioritized clicks over human life. Or if our government were to bring accountability to Facebook. This is the fight of the 21st century, how we regulate these relentless and irresponsible tech companies will determine the well-being of our future.

Why? Well because eventually the country will require her to speak unscripted. And yes, there are two different standards. Trumptards don't care about truth but most people do. And part of being truthful is being able to articulate your position unscripted, so hopefully Kamala can do that. Once she does she should go back to being scripted since obviously she has a phobia of going off-script.

Here's the thing guys, You're either pro border wall or against it.

I'm against aggressive border policy, draconian punishment for undocumented immigrants, and yes, I'm against a border wall. Therefore, Her moving right on this issue is bad and dumb and I disagree with it.

However, are you pro border wall? if so, why are you complaining about the flip-flopping? who TF cares if its a flip flop, you should be applauding the decision to change her mind if you hold the opinion of "border wall good".

Turns out it's a joint interview with Walz. He's going to be her ventriloquist.

All things considered, she chose a good ventriloquist. Letting Walz talk a lot is not the worst campaign strategy.

What are the odds she has to field a question on Israel-Gaza? I love watching her fence-sit in the midst of ongoing genocide.

Can't I be of the opinion that maybe a border half-wall might be nice? Exchange recipes, gossip about the weird neighbors in New Mexico, borrow a cup of sugar? Does that sound so bad?

I don't know, he sounded pretty militant about how much he loved his family. Dude was lit.
