When was this bill voted on? The original one?
1. February 2024, original, when it was tied to Ukraine funding.
2. May 23, 2024, stand alone, when it was shot down in the senate.
So if Trump says, this bill is great and all republicans should vote for it and it gets approved, you’re talking around the 1st of June being signed off on.
That would have been 105 days ago, or 3 1/2 months ago.
Biden has been in office for 41 months before that bill would have been signed.
So let’s look at the numbers from the first 41 months of immigration and then the last 3 1/2 months.
First 41 months - 9.5 million immigrants (this is only till April 2024, so you could add the reported 118k immigrants from May.
June 24 - 83,500
July 24 - 61,400
August 24 - 58,000
Total for 3 months - 203k
First 41 months - 9.6 million
Last 3 months - 203k
First 41 months - 97.9% of all immigrants who came during Biden’s administration.
Last 3 months - .0207%
So do you want to be honest with what has happened with immigration under the Biden Administration and using Trump as the scapegoat?

So, yes, Trump did kill the first bi-partisan bill and most conservative border bill in decades.
Lastly, no one claimed Biden had the perfect plan, or even a good one, or that his policies did what they wanted them to do, just that they finally had a bi-partisan bill, Trump announced publicly that they shouldn't pass it, and, in perfect aryan lock-step, the ones who CREATED IT immediate CRATERED IT. That is indisputable. Also, no one takes into account the issue of people simply arriving at the border at higher numbers, or the rebound effect after the historic lows of COVID, instead they make it sound like Biden went to south America and personally invited people in while Trump stood with angels and a flaming sword, valiantly defending the border, when his own record isn't too great either, both from a crossing standpoint and from a humanitarian one. Not to mention the ridiculous border wall debacle that did NOTHING to curtail illegal immigration, but did cost taxpayers a ****-ton. When is Mexico writing us a check exactly?

But Trump supporters have been made to believe that all immigrants are scum of the earth and deserve any bad thing that comes their way, that is the Trump way, the "othering" of the demagogue or aspiring dictator. And boy does it work. I guess if you don't give a **** about women children or families as long as they come from "******** countries", then you are fine with everything he "accomplished", which is virtually no change in immigration, but a severe decline in human rights at the border. Yay?

I don’t call immigrants any other term but illegal immigrants. I don’t fault them, yet say they are trying to do what it takes for a better life and it’s not their fault. This problem is the US governments. We did this to ourselves.
You might not like that Kamala’s competence is lacking, she has not ideas, has no convictions other than stripping rights from people
You might want to fault Trump for everything, but that’s not being honest. This is one of those issues. This invasion is 100% on border Czar Kamala and Biden’s administration. This caused more issues to Americans finances, wages and purchasing power than almost anything else before. This is our biggest issue.
See if I was MAGA, I would say deport everyone, yet you don’t see me say that. I say close the border, pause immigration, fix our house and reopen with needs based immigration.
Again please be honest that it was the Biden administration that let in 9.8 million people in less than 4 years… no one else’s fault but theirs.

Not to not pick but I think you misspoke here.
I don't think of Melania trump as an illegal immigrant.
I don't think it's Bidens or Kamala's fault that so many people want to come to America. I'm going to go ahead and blame that on hundreds of years of prosperity while currently kicking most of the rest of the worlds *** economically.

This "invasion" is not a ****ing invasion. You act like you don't blame them, but then you say they are conducting an invasion. That is a hostile act. They are not engaged in hostilities, they are engaged in survival.
Kamala may be partially responsible for the number of people entering illegally. That's because the reason immigration to the U.S. is so high is that the U.S. has avoided an economic downturn and never had anything close to the same inflation as most South American countries. Our excellent economy is the primary cause of increased immigration, so yeah, thanks Biden, thanks Kamala!
There is only one solution that will work to stop the flow... either South America's economy needs to get better than ours or ours needs to go into a recession. That is the only way that immigration will be reduced.
You've made statements about closing the boarder. What kind of force field do you have in mind to accomplish that? It doesn't exist. Even if there was a death wall. Sure we'd kill thousands and thousands of people who come up to that wall and being unable to cross it they die in the desert via dehydration, heat stroke or general exposure. What we wouldn't do is effectively stop illegal immigration.
Regan couldn't do it. Bush Sr, couldn't do it, Clinton couldn't do it, Bush Jr. couldn't do it, Obama couldn't do it (but that MFer tried as hard as any of them), Trump couldn't do it and Biden couldn't do it. But yeah, it's all Kamala's fault.

I wonder, though, how people balance their dislike of immigration with their positivity towards higher levels of procreation domestically. There's a small difference in those two things, of course, for instance, the immigrants are less likely to commit crimes, will generally be more willing and able to do some of the harder jobs compared to Tiffany and Brian's 17 year old princess Lillaphanneigh who only needs a job to pay for the insurance on the car her parents bought for her. Lillaphanneigh's parents are practicing tough love, you see, making her pay for her own insurance on her Mercedes.

This first point is especially interesting. We already are facing a retirement crisis as the baby-boomers work their way onto social security, and it is widely known to be a reverse pyramid right now with not enough people at the bottom paying in to support the structure, since we have allowed politicians to ransack SS funding all these decades. Adding entry-level workers to the work force will be a net positive in this regard.

Those people have no idea how the majority of government benefits work and that an undocumented immigrant doesn't qualify for the vast majority of them, especially the ones that give you actual food or cash (EBT).
