We can hope that's the case. I'm concerned that the billionaires rallied so hard to get him elected with promises of cabinet positions and such, when we already have the most lop-sided distribution of wealth and highest national debt ever in our country. To me that doesn't bode well for how we handle finances over the next 4 years.
This is my biggest problem with all of it. He is a known insurrectionist and no one seems to care or are willing to do anything about it. He's a convicted felon and no one seems to care or are willing to do anything about it. He's about to pardon himself placing him effectively above the law. It's ridiculous and should be an unmitigated outrage to any American who believes in the Constitution and rule of law. He is riding a corrupt supreme Court to immunity he doesn't deserve when his actions caused deaths and disrupted a free and fair election.
I'm really concerned for the future of social security and the cost of medical care in this country now. We could see both set backward by decades. Social security is so critical to a majority of our aging population that any threat to it should constitute a national crisis. And if it ends up being dissolved or even greatly reduced it will be a crisis. We are already so far behind all other developed nations in our medical system that this also constitutes a crisis. We can only hope that he doesn't try to dismantle both of these. Imo these are huge threats we just aren't taking about.
At this point maybe if he breaks enough ****, somebody will do something to fix them for once. Silver lining.
They've been finding out for the last year, It's not like Israel can genocide any harder. BTW, if Harris signaled early that she was open to an arms embargo if Israel doesn't restraing itself, she flips the election with these people.
Get serious man. It has sucked the last 4 years being poor or middle class. So many people can’t even afford groceries let alone rent.
