It's need to be this way. Two games ago he was booted from the rotation. I don't think Hardy had plans to play him early on in the year, but that cannot happen anymore.

Lot of coaches have the injury rule where they revert back to the lineup before an injury took place.

Whether or not he's in the rotation shouldn't even come into question. He's far beyond the other options even on a fully healthy team. I would GLeague Cody before benching Flip going forward. It's not a big deal for him to be late, but if Hardy doesn't continue to feature Flip I would definitely think of less of him.
