Following Potential 2025 Draftees

College sports is so weird now. Everyone is playing for a different team every year. It's a system of hired mercenaries.

Finally watched the Cooper possessions. He's definitely in a class of his own and I'm fairly high on his creation/handle ability despite the end of game turnovers.

I think Flagg is a true #1 level guy. It's extremely early on, but the last 5 drafts I think I'd only have Wemby and maybe Chet (I'm a big Chet stan) ahead as prospects. In the last 10 drafts, I think Zion and Luka would be the only prospects I rated as ahead.

It remains to be seen if any others in this draft can approach that level.

in the one and done power rankings (this is a who is playing best, not a draft board), i still have Tre Johnson at #1. Flagg will need to unseat him.

That stuff won't translate. He's not Durant.

He can put on those silly dribbling exhibitions in college because defenses suck *** and people guard him like he's a 47% 3pt shooter. In the league, people will play off him until he shows he can make shots. And there's no guarantee that will happen.

So far, Flagg's shooting has been atrocious. That will be the big story on him this season. Right now, he's relentlessly trying to dribble his way to the basket because he obviously doesn't trust his shot.

Tremendous, you keep saying he is over dibbling and shooting horrible from 3. i haven't seen that at all, but i will look again. i see a natural leader, good dribbler, great defensive player with amazing skills. Definately a top 3 prospect, probably 1st overall.

I don’t think Coop sucks at shooting…but even if he did he’d still be an elite prospect. Nobody thought he was an elite prospect because he shot the ball like Durant lol.

He’s also ****ing 17 years old.

I mentioned earlier that I still worry about Demin shooting. He is shooting 28% FROM THE LINE iirc.

One thing I'm really interested to see is what happens when Dallin Hall gets back in the lineup. He is the player who many thought would be the best player on BYU roster this season and plays point guard.

Will be interesting to see how Hall and Demin handle touches and the pg duties. From what I understand Hall is healthy enough to play right now but the games so far were all considered easy wins so they are giving Hall some extra time
