If you want to talk about how wages aren't keeping up with inflation, then say that. If you want to talk about the economy being or not being in recession, then say that. The word "inflation" is not a proxy for those things. If you make a comment about the currency being worth 10% of what it was before and therefore everything costing 10x more, then you're talking inflation.what's the point of talking to you?
I agreed with your earlier point of wages lagging inflation being a reason for Trump's victory. During nearly all of Trump's term in office, wages rose faster than inflation. If you lived through Trump's term where your wages rose faster than inflation, and Biden's term where wages lagged the rise in inflation, it isn't crazy to want to go back to Trump's leadership in hopes he can duplicate for you what he did before.
