What's new

Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Ace absolutely cooked IND in that first half. He's got warts, but he's damn good at what he does.

Ace is exactly the type of player I would say isn't my type of prospect, but if we drafted him outside of the top 3 I wouldn't be upset. Incredible shot making.

With Bailey I kind of get annoyed that he gets pigeon holed as just a shot maker. He’s been really good defensively and he averages 8 rebs a game from that wing position. He’s a guy that plays really hard out there and even if shots aren’t falling he can impact winning.

I would add Kam Jones to the list of great PGs in the draft. The only thing against him is his age.

Demin is a play making forward. I don't consider him a PG right now. A point forward, I believe, they are called. Look at Simmons if you can't shoot it makes passing harder. Same goes for Demin.

Kas is probably the top PG on my board. Of course I consider Harper a 2 guard who can pass some. He is score first.

I like what I see from Fears. Live the name too. Need to watch more. So the jury is still out on him. Measurements will mean a lot.

Fland is one of the funnest PGs to watch. He reminds me of the typical playground PG from new york. So much fun to watch. The biggest question is can he do what he does in the NBA. I think so but his size will always be a question mark.

Traore I am a huge fan. Might be one of the best PGs in the draft. The biggest question will be his shooting. If he can't shoot it he will have a short career.

Ben Saraf should be in the consideration. Love the way he plays. Tough tough player. Again shooting will be his downfall. He is not the greatest game manager either. He is learning and is probably in the Harper category.

Philon i do not know a lot about yet.

Those are my first round PGs. Kas is #1 but I am a HUGE fan of Kam Jones.
Demin is 100% PG.

Both Fears and Kasparas are likely to go in the top half of the lottery, imo. Demin may be slipping. Fland and Traore are more likely late-lottery or mid-1st. Being smaller, they'll need to make difficult plays routinely, and then there are questions about how they'll hold up defensively.
That is very much true. I think that many start to cool off on Demin, while Fland and Traore need a lot going for them to become something better than a backup PG.

Disagree on him being “really good defensively”. Potential is there I suppose.

Egor definitely passes and has the mentality of a “PG” but that handle does look very shaky. Think NBA defenders are going to give him lots of problems if he’s the primary ball handler until her improves.

-0.1 DBPM suggest he's not a really good defender. Maybe he isnt awful, but I find it hard to believe a really good defender can post a negative DBPM in college, especially with the subpar level of competition Rutgers has faced up to this point (not that they all are, but they played a relatively easy non-conference schedule).

Bailey would be a guy I'd be really happy with in in 8-14 range. I just cant buy a guy who barely averages an assist per 20 shot attempts as a building block.

Kasparas has yet another good game against a top team, and this time on the road with a big W. 16-6-6

Oh, and that was in 22 minutes due to foul trouble lmfao. Dude might have had a triple double if he played his usual minutes.

lol @ the idea that dbpm tells a story about individual defense. Adorable.

Watch the games.

yeah, the tunnel vision that dude has... it's next-level. I can think of at least 6 or 7 other players I'd rather have.

it seems every year there is a prospect or three people simply overthink. maybe their warts are more visible or whatever - I have no idea.

At the end of the story, Bailey is one of the youngest dudes in the draft and he’s averaging 20 and 8.

side note: who had on their bingo card Bailey averaging more blocks per game than Cooper Flagg?
