It will be interesting to see how Millsap plays against this sick Clipper front line. If I were them, I'd place Jordan on Millsap and have someone help double. Especially CP3 who could sneak in quickly and create steals.... I'd cheat off Harris and hayward until they prove that they can hit an outside shot. I'd also look to use the zone and slow down the Jazz's offense.
Favors needs to take up Jefferson's production and help us out. He's been pretty much a non-factor a while now. IMO Kanter looked far better against the Jailblazers, which is definitely not what we want. We need Favors to get going and be a double double monster (if not a real force)....
Harris vs CP3 is going to be huge. Will Harris come out aggressive? Or will he come out slow and get his *** kick like he has against such dominate PGs like Dfish?
Quite honestly, Harris might be the 2nd most important player on this team behind Millsap. If he plays aggressive and gets us into our offense/transition game, we are a ton better than watching Harris play Carlos Arroyo and walk the ball up the court and chuck up some crap with the shot clock going off...
I have a feeling that the Clippers are going to bring it tonight. It's a statement game for them. I hope we exceed their intensity, execute against the zone, and young guys Hayward and Favors play well... Otherwise, we're gonna be toast. Millsap can't do everything against this sick Clippers team.
