Jazz Suns trade

Two franchises just rolling dice for the **** of it?

I get it, it still just feels like a dice roll.
I mean, we DO have too many picks to actually use and 7 players that couldn’t buy alcohol before the start of the season. But what if that Suns pick is ***? What if we just gave them a lifeline to avoid bottoming out which is what would make that pick so juicy.

They're about to trade for Jimmy Butler and give him a max contract, that is the exact opposite of a lifeline.

I think it's safe to say that they're bottomed-out by '31.

I hope so. I have a tough time seeing how they do the deal, still, since the Heat didn’t want Beal a year and a half ago and he has that NTC.

I don't see what three late 1st-round picks are going to do for Phoenix here.
The Jazz are probably going to be good in '29.
The Cavs' pick this year is going to be #29 or #30 in a meh draft.
The pick in '27 is probably going to be another Cavs pick in the 20s.
