LA Clippers Lob City vs. Utah Jazz Swat Lake City, Wed. 8:30 MT ESPN

Dirtbag clippers?

Blame Ty?

Excessive celebration? Hugging after having lost 16 straight in SLC?

Huh????

Folks, give them credit. They survived a Jefferson explosion, they shut down Millsap, and took over a tough physical game in a hostile environment.

The Clippers also kicked our asses on the boards. I didn't think a team in the NBA could do that to us. They made Favors look like a pansie and completely smothered Hayward and Harris.

Give them credit.

Their rebounding edge should tell you a lot. They say rebounding is effort. Well.... One could infer then, that they wanted this more.

Instead of trashing the clippers, tip your hat to them. Now challenge our team to learn from this and get better. We gotta play with more effort outrebound our opponents EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, find a way to make 3 pointers, and to focus better so we don't miss gimmie FTs.

Agree, clips outplayed the jazz. No need to whine and bitch. Clips are a damn good team. If they can strengthen their bench they will be dangerous.

Sap's thing has always been to have games on sheer dominance, then have stretches where he is just kind of there. I thought he played a lot of good post D on Griffin actually. Our lack of outside shooting killed us tonight combined with our inability to really get into the running game in the 2nd half.

Also Paul seems to take it personally when Blake does score on him and he tries to take it right back at him. Great attitude.

We didn't get killed though- we were edged out. Garnett would call that a bar fight.

Burks time on the court was pretty typical for him this season. A couple of plays where you just marvel at his ability, then a couple of plays where he's just out of control. Learning to play off the ball is going to be a work in progress for him.

I don't get into the ref stuff, but it really looked like Griffin was getting beneficial calls when he had 5 fouls. That CJ drive looked like he should have been out of there. And the Sap charge was highly questionable.

I was gonna post something about that. As soon as Griff got #5, I knew that only a VERY OBVIOUS foul would be called on him the rest of the way.

And yes, CJ was hacked on that one.

I always thought the home team got the benifit of the doubt, but no longer. Seems like the league is going out of their way to not let the ESA be a place were visiting teams lose.

Lack of clutch rebounding tonight--although it might be related to our chasing around their guards all over the place.

Then Chris Paul was a few plays more clutch than we were.

Um mm that would be you who has them on speed dial. Loser.

Funny, you cry about me every day, but accuse me of doing it.

Call me another name! It shows that you have grown up!

WOOHOO!
