Yeah it’s been a while since somebody has thrown the Lakers a bone. We really should help them out.
I mean, it's never truly meaningless, but yeah. I'm not giving them Kessler. Having his contract would be a cheat code for them signing big time free agents because of his small cap hold when he hits RFA.Now that the Lakers have Luka on their roster going forward, asking them to remove the top-4 protection on their '27 FRP might be meaningless. The Lakers don't have much they can offer the Jazz in a trade proposal for Walker Kessler.
They might not have salary to match? IDK, they just never buy which is a bad sign for a Sexton deal even though it makes a ton of sense for them to pursue.Like, if Im a Magic fan Im furious. Lavine cost basically nothing. Why not go get LaVine?
LaVine’s contract is horrendous. Plus they’d have to trade KCP and Anthony to make it happen. Does that make a ton of sense for them?Like, if Im a Magic fan Im furious. Lavine cost basically nothing. Why not go get LaVine?

You want to pay him 46M and 49M next season and the season after? That’s a ton of money tied into someone who doesn’t affect winning that much.Honestly even as a Jazz fan I'm a bit annoyed we didnt get LaVine if the Bulls were willing to take so little. Put him on ice for the tank. Just crazy how low the Bulls sold when he's playing great basketball.
Yeah, I think it would make a ton of sense for them. I dont get what they are doing at all. Their team isnt going to suddenly get good at scoring through internal development.LaVine’s contract is horrendous. Plus they’d have to trade KCP and Anthony to make it happen. Sure, why not? Not like the Jazz are going to pay anyone else the next 2 years. If you luck out and get Flagg, you have a great team. You want to pay him 46M and 49M next season and the season after? That’s a ton of money tied into someone who doesn’t affect winning that much.
It doesn’t because their team is about to get really expensive due to extensions very shortly.Yeah, I think it would make a ton of sense for them. I dont get what they are doing at all. Their team isnt going to suddenly get good at scoring through internal development.
How does one even fix the Hawks? Collins got worse every year under the Hawks, so why would they believe he could actually help them? The only way you are truly helping the Hawks is giving them Kessler. We need to help the Hawks. Besides reuniting the LFF crew (Clarkson and Quin), what can we do?
I am cooking on high heat right now, but could the Jazz give the Hawks a rental of John Collins (using Bogdan and Nance to match salary), then basically trade him back to us in the off-season? The Spurs are too ****ing dangerous owning that pick. If they hit on the lotta it’s basically game over for our next build.
Not me. I prefer we continue resting healthy good players and tank super hard (Kessler should shoot threes at the end of close games for "development") and get our guy this season and then try to make the playoffs next season. Are people here just embracing the idea of the eternal tank? Draft, develop and trade 2-3 years later? Agbaji and Fontecchio last year, Kessler - this year, Hendricks and Keyonte - next season... What is the end goal of that?
Then they are going to waste a lot of time and never be a good team.It doesn’t because their team is about to get really expensive due to extensions very shortly.
