2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

So what would Jazz have to give to get Zion
Locke was saying the better of the Minnesota/Cleveland pick in 2027 with light protections, matching salary, and probably some combination (or maybe just one of) Hendricks/Sensabaugh/Williams

It's an entertaining pod, Locke has a good rant on the Lakers getting Luka. Audio quality is beyond awful tho. Dude really needs to hire an audio engineer.

But **** David Locke for giving me some hope for something massive to happen in the next 5 hours and now I cant get any work done
**** you for giving me some hope for something massive to happen in the next 5 hours and now I cant get any work done since I didn’t know of that recent podcast

Wow. Guessing some of those 2nds must be fake seconds and maybe a fake first? Wild trade for a 2 million dollar savings (plus tax).
The Sixers are trading Reggie Jackson + least favorable of the 2026 firsts of OKC/HOU/LAC to the Washington Wizards for four second-round picks and Jared Butler, per source.

Those picks, I'm told:2027 more favorable GSW/PHX, 2028 GSW, 2030 more favorable PHX/POR, 2030 WAS

Crazy get for the Wizards. Well played.

I think with all that has gone wrong in NO that there is no way they give up on Zion right now. Not for something small anyway. They moved Ingram and can wait out the lotto as they will be bottom 4 guaranteed.

That is logical, but like what we saw with Dallas/Luka, if FO/Ownership is fed up with him, they might just be ready to move on and not make a logical decision.

At this rate, I’d be shocked if there’s not st least one more huge move to finish off the deadline. I’d also be shocked if the Jazz stay out of the mix. Feels like there’s more cooking with all the moves that other tanking teams are making right now.

If that is the case, then by all means pounce. That is a super depressed dark market right now. Games are a ghost town. Never seen a team with that kind of injury luck.
