Are the Spurs stealth tanking? What the **** is going on there? They were thumping the Magic and then magically lose by one point?

I definitely have to give it to Ainge and Hardy, but at the trade deadline our tank has been a success, beyond what I predicted. I thought we would be in the 5th to 8th best odds, so 3rd is much better than expected.

We'll see how the end of the season goes. I expected to sell off more player and tank super hard to end the season. I still expect that we will sit players, but I'm wondering if we'll be a egregious as we were at the end of last season.

If we end up with lower than 4th best odds it will be disappointing, but compared to my preseason expectations, 5th would have been ok, and that currently seems like worst case scenario right now.

Ya I think I remember posting that I would be happy with 5th before the season began.

There might have even been a poll (or maybe just a question posed in a thread) asking if we could be given the 5th spot (maybe it was 5th pick) would you take it and I said yes.

Man, I don't know how you all post these optimistic mid-game updates day after day, just to see the hopes dashed in the fourth quarter.

The stress of getting my hopes up and then being let down time after time would give me a heart attack. (I should probably just stay away from this thread.)
