Following Potential 2026 Draftees

“BYU, North Carolina and Alabama were all able to meet the asking price, which was approximately $5 million, according to sources at schools on Dybantsa's list of finalists. That deal is considered the largest for any college basketball player ever. That NIL deal will come directly from BYU's collective, according to Leonard Armato, Dybantsa's business adviser.

"The money for every [school] was the same," Armato, told CBS Sports. "The decision wasn't a money decision as much as it was a culture fit, a decision for the family, basketball, all those things that should be the determining factors. There was a certain money threshold, but once you got to that, it was about 'how comfortable do I feel for me as a basketball player and my family.'"

AJ has to be the best draft prospect for the Jazz in the history of potentially available prospects. Not only is he the most talented player the Jazz are in the running for of all time, he's also already shown a willingness to be in Utah for 2 straight years.
Yeah but Provo may break him and he may turn against Utah.

Koa Peat is a big beast. Not sure if he'll turn out like a Blake Griffin or Paolo Banchero, but he's big, athletic and can play with the ball some.

BYU Signee Xavion Staton To Play With AJ Dybantsa At Utah Prep.

BYU signee Xavion Staton will have some on-court experience with AJ Dybantsa before the two play college basketball together.

The 7-foot-1 Staton from Las Vegas, Nevada, will conclude his high school career at Utah Prep.

The first glimpse of Dybantsa and Staton on the floor together will be this Friday in Newark, New Jersey, as Utah Prep takes on Dynamic Prep (Texas) in the Iverson Classic.

I'm pretty bummed that the Jazz have swaps in 2026 with Minnesota and the Cavs. I'd like a shot at a 2nd lottery pick in 2026.
