Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

This wild for Finland! Knowing your history with Russian invasion it surprises me that many support him. If you’re not familiar look it up. They used winter tactics on skiis! So cool.

This generation of voters haven’t lived through right-wing incompetence, fear, and violence. They will now. Last time they oversaw 9/11, we watched it unite us all, and then Bush and the GOP ruined all of it. They lied to all of us about WMD, and sent a generation to war in 2 countries, and crashed the economy on the way out. Sound familiar?

I think it's all about the "culture wars" and "woke vs. anti-woke" fantasy that surprisingly quite many, especially men (and should I say, young men) have bought in all over the world, honestly. Some of it it's their stubbornness is about not giving up ANY ground on their social media persona. Many don't just read reàl articles or don't understand what they read. They actually are not understanding how far right actions will affect. It's wild, because we see what such maneuvers have done to Hungary, Turkey, Belarus... And such nations leaders mostly seem to be either friends with Putin, or at minimum, neutrals.

I mean, how can't they not see it, I just don't understand..It might be I'm too old to fully understand how "flash score news" (TikTok news, X news, influencers) can throw off people. I'm the generation that read long articles and changed my voting habits and opinions if I saw my favorites not doing their job for people.

I made out of interest a poll in some Finnish forum I know have many rightwingers as well. I asked how worried they are about the American democracy right now. One third were not worried at all.
A third of Finland knows American politics. That is really impressive. Go Finland! I guarantee you that a third of Americans don't know Finland politics. I'm not even confident a third of Americans could point to Finland on a map.

The long awaited Zelenskiy vs. Trump been going on today... Seems it ended up to Zelenskiy wanting to make clear Putin was the aggressor and they should be the payers for the crime. And like a true "dictator wannabe" Trump starts flashing out "You play with the thread of third world war card". By who? Russia ain't big enough to do that... Unless it's Trump that wants to help him? I don't know do I want to see Zelenskiy pressure him THIS much because we know how petty Trump is. But I know I don't want him to kiss his *** either.

What you wrote makes no sense. Maybe try a different translator?

Its just so strange how trump is completely unwilling to ever say a bad word about putin. Until you remember that putin owns trump and trump is doing putins bidding.

Putin isn't ready for peace. If he was he would end his invasion of ukraine and take his military back to russia. Putin just isn't ready for peace though. Of course trump would never dare say that about putin.

Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) scolded President Donald Trump over his Oval Office tirade against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, calling it “a bad day for America’s foreign policy.”

Zelensky had traveled to Washington, D.C. to sign a deal to keep the United States involved in the Ukrainian war effort and discuss the ongoing conflict between his nation and Vladimir Putin’s Russia. But the deal blew up after Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Zelensky got in a shouting match in front of the press in the Oval Office that saw Trump wax poetic about his relationship with Putin, call Zelensky “disrespectful,” and insist he didn’t “have the cards right now!” (trump is probably not smart enough to understand that english is not the primary language that zelensky speaks and phrases like "you dont have the cards" probably are hard to even understand for him)

“Ukraine wants independence, free markets and rule of law. It wants to be part of the West. Russia hates us and our Western values. We should be clear that we stand for freedom,” argued Bacon.

Trump had previously falsely accused Zelensky of being a dictator responsible for starting the war between Ukraine and Russia, despite the fact that Zelensky was duly elected and the conflict began when Russia launched an invasion of Zelensky’s country in early 2022.

Remember when trump said his voters wouldn't even need to vote next election?

Donald Trump was sued on Friday by the Democratic Party over a recent executive order it says violates federal election law by giving him too much power over the independent Federal Election Commission.

Friday's lawsuit objects to a February 18 order giving the White House more control over the election commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other traditionally independent agencies that normally operate day-to-day at arm's length from the president.

Critics have called the order an unprecedented power grab.

The Democrats said it would effectively substitute Trump's views on election-related disputes for those of the bipartisan election commission, and let him dictate outcomes.

Project 2025 continues along.

trumps workday is signing "executive orders" which he is briefed on before signing them (he would never take the time to read them), then holding them up as if to show that he can sign his own name. I would like to see him provide Musk with 5 bullet points of what he accomplishes each week.

There is the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches in our government. There is no Independent branch. That is something lefties made up. All of the agencies you mention are in the Executive Branch, and under the Chief Executive.

They pissed off Canada and Mexico. They pissed off Colombia. They pissed off Europe.

The damage for the reputation of USA is so big it will have implications on US economy but also world economy.

If you have equal trade partners from USA or some other nation that seems much more stable, which one you rather be in trade partnership in the future? That's right.

But it's all good for Trump II and tech bros bc they don't give a F about the overall implications, if they can just steal enough money and revenge to anyone who dares to have a difference of opinion.

So of course they are bros with Putin. But instead of being actually loved by Putin like they live him, Putin gets theast laugh. Their reputation was already in ruins so now he'll use his puppets to get anything good to come. Repression to the world, some land, stolen money and (minerals?) to dictators.

We deserve the consequences since we knew exactly who Trump was and we elected him anyway.

Ukraine doesn't deserve it though.
