The *OFFICIAL* Russia Is About To Invade Ukraine Thread

But of course:

A reporter for Russian state media was allowed to attend a joint briefing between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, although the Trump White House claimed this was done in error.

The correspondent, who was working for the TASS Russian news agency, was first spotted by The Independent's Andrew Feinberg, who broke news of his presence on X.

Shortly afterward, a White House official gave Feinberg a statement saying that the TASS reporter had been admitted in error.

The presence of a Russian state news reporter is notable given President Donald Trump's long affinity for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump on Friday also repeatedly berated and insulted Zelenskyy to his face in front of cameras, even as Zelenskyy and his nation have been fighting against a Russian military invasion for more than three years now.

Maybe Ukraine can get someone in there that isnt a tv clown

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians dead to hold the line, and Zelensky may have just made their sacrifice worthless in the space of 10 minutes. The more mind-blowing thing is the pro-war contingent here on JF is praising Zelensky!!!!

The Ukrainian Ambassador did a face palm, the Russian press is jumping for joy, and the JF lefties are praising Zelensky!!!!! Do you lefties have any clue what Zelensky just did?

Been watching some of the footage from the oval. Clearly a deliberate attack on Zelensky, those two ****ing **** pigs think they can bully him into surrendering to their master Putin.

Trump said it will make great TV, well it did The world was watching and watching a pair of two bit, low rent clowns **** up a shake down of a decent man. Any treaty with America isn't worth the paper it's written on. All alliances with the US should be considered non-existent.

Not only does that **** stain pigdog continue to disgrace his office, today he poured petrol on the United States standing in the world.

Reuters and the associated press were denied access

Putin must have footage of Trump sucking a dog's dick or something.

I heard that his son in law has a bunch of agreements with Russian energy companies in place. So removing embargo on Russia stands to make them hundreds of millions

British television host and longtime Trump backer Piers Morgan wrote on X: "The only winner from today's Oval Office debacle is Vladimir Putin... and anyone who thinks that is a good thing for the world is stunningly deluded."

Spain Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez wrote on X: "Ukraine, Spain stands with you."

Former national security adviser John Bolton wrote on X: "Trump has put the US on the wrong side of the Russia-Ukraine war and it's shameful. He is every day making it more and more difficult to pull the West back together. After his term, the U.S. will need to convince our allies that we are dependable and still a nation of normal people."

An interesting few seconds. Trump asks if we can see the hatred for Putin in Zelensky! Gotta say, now more than ever, I know Trump and Putin have a little something going on. And have for a very long time. Vance initiated the argument. True, Zelensky could have spied a trap, and resisted pushing back, but I doubt it was an accident that Vance kicked it off at all. Or that Trump took it from there.

And it’s not really one of Trump’s alternative narratives. He didn’t invent it, as he did the Big Lie of a stolen election. It’s Putin’s alternative narrative, one of Putin’s Big Lies, accepted, and fully promoted, by Trump. Which many will agree is what Trump does best. Lie and repeat the lies of others. So no sweat lying with the world’s cameras there to record what will be viewed by historians many times.

It’s dividing the world up into spheres of power and influence.

Zelenski shouldn't have been a prideful brat.
Pride and sacrifice is how you keep a brutal aggressor out of your country. Zelensky knows the reality of war, unlike Trump or Vance - two of the softest pieces of **** I've ever laid my eyes on. They just know the value of the dollar. Every word they say insults the ukrainians literally dying for their homeland. Disgraceful.

There was a time when America was an automatic ally of countries that tried to claw their way to the West from behind the iron curtain. Countries that wanted freedom, human rights and a market economy. That time has passed.

Now it's "What's in it for us?"

trump seems confused as to why zelensky would hate Putin.
trump doesn't understand why everyone doesn't love Putin like he does.
Poor confused old man.

And trumpers know that the way that they behave is to grovel at the feet of someone right after they insult you. Like when trump called his supporters sheep.

So it's confusing to them why zelensky wouldn't grovel at trumps feet after trump insulted him. They think that is the normal thing to do.
