Orrrr maybe Zelenskyy was able to shop for security guarantees from EU/UK, which allows them to move forward with Trumps deal even with his “security guarantee” aka “Trust me!”

It’s a good deal for everyone. Trump gets his deal and can wink at Putin. Ukraine gets NATO protection. Russia will walk away with south eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

It’s complete and total ********, but Al’s right, if it brings peace and Ukraine is ok with it, you go for it.

Man, if Z and Trump planned this to get EU/UK to step up NATO support, securing the US in NATO too - NATO ain’t NATO without the US, this could be a massive boon!

Or Trumps a Russian asset.

If there were a deal then the news would have been about the deal that was signed. The news is about being ready to sign a deal, meaning there is nothing.
