He's not really a ball mover or decision maker, so I'm not sure it's that impressive.
Adrian Wooley's season just ended, but he had an incredible year as a Freshman at a mid-major.
Finished the year averaging 19-5-4 on 51/41 shooting splits. Had 28-7-5 in his final game.
Next Ja Morant? (Not that he plays like Ja, just a good PG from a mid-major who isnt an upperclassmen)

it's not just georgia tech. he can score against anybody. he averages 14 ppg on 63% TS. as a frosh. you should understand that kind of production and efficiency is extremely rare at the P4 level.

i would love to see wooley transfer up and get an idea of what he can do at that level. i've only seen two of his games, but he looks small and not very athletic. but the production as a frosh matters - he shouldn't be dismissed based on that alone. get him to a power league and let's see what he does.
Seems like a given he'd at least explore options to transfer up. He'd make a killing in NIL somewhere.
Ok, I just don’t see the different layers of his game translating to the NBA, though. Doesn’t mean he can’t be a valuable role player, I just don’t know how much of a priority a nice role player is for teams looking (and perhaps desperate) for a franchise player (teams with the worst ten worst records).
I wouldnt mind drafting Beringer if Fleming/Carter are off the board with the Wolves pick. He looks massive (length wise and has a great frame to add muscle) and is extremely athletic.
His jumper also doesnt look terrible and may have some potential there.

In a pre-season game this year against the Portland Trailblazers, Essengue had 20 pts, 8 rebs, 3 asts, 2 stls, while shooting 3/6 from NBA 3pt. He was still 17 y.o. He had multiple drives where he used his length to get by Toumani Camara.

I think I would draft Beringer over Essengue. I like the idea of having an elite athlete backup 5 to develop. We've seen what the D looks like without Walker. 48 minutes of elite rim protection would be nice (if Beringer can get there)
I think I may flip from being a Kasparas stan to having him outside of my lottery.
Beringer's defensive versatility would complement Filipowski, if those two played next to each other. Beringer can guard all over the floor from what little I've seen.
I'm not that passionate about Essengue, but I have to admit that he's a real prospect.
Essengue is interesting, but he's also the type of prospect that bust. Beringer is raw, but he seems pretty safe if you believe in his motor.
I would not be surprised at all if the Jazz draft a point/combo guard with the Minnesota pick -- whether that's Traore or Sergio de Larrea. I don't think the Jazz are settled on Collier, as nice a story as that's been this year. (I'm not sure if Ben Saraf really projects as a starter.)
