Top….8???
I think there is huge amount of certainty about what Flagg's floor is and the floor is incredibly high... And it's accompanied with really high ceiling too. I don't think you can turn that down. Just think about what you would offer to move to 1 if you got no. 3 this year? Would you offer next year's 1st? What about both MIN picks? What about both CLE picks? What about the PHX pick? Where would you stop? I think I would offer obscene quantity and quality of pick for the relative certainty that Flagg is.Would you rather have the 1st pick in this draft and the 8th pick in the 2026 draft, or the #3 pick in both drafts?
Moving to both slots would be nearly impossibleI think there is huge amount of certainty about what Flagg's floor is and the floor is incredibly high... I take Flagg and no. 8. No questions asked. And then I bet it would be much easier to move from 8 to 3 next year than it is to move from any pick to 1 this year.
Not even an NBA player.Queen is slept on. Could be a steal in this draft, IMO.
I suck at comps, so I think you are brave to include them. I like most of them, but I don't see the Derrick White comp for Jase or the Cason Wallace comp for VJ.View attachment 18387
Here is my top-10 big board at the moment with high end outcome player comparisons.
Jase was one of the harder ones. As far as VJ I could see his lower end outcome being a Cason Wallace type of player. Him and Tre I put a lower end outcome along with a really high end one.I suck at comps, so I think you are brave to include them. Ok, yeah I could see a low end outcome for VJ as a 3&D guard. I don't think he is nearly as good of an on ball defender as Cason is/was, but I can see what you are getting at. He's obviously much more athletic than Cason.Jase was one of the harder ones. As far as VJ I could see his lower end outcome being a Cason Wallace type of player. Yes, comps are so hard because every single player is different in their own ways.Ok, yeah I could see a low end outcome for VJ as a 3&D guard. I get your point but this list doesn't make sense. You have to take FLagg. He is a known commodity. I have no idea how Boozer, Dybansta, or Peterson are going to perform. There were questions about how Flagg was going to handle it. He struggled with his shooting at the beginning of the year but is coming on so strong.
I mean those 3 look amazing but who really knows? Case in point Emoni Bates was pegged as the best prospect since Labron and look what happened to him.
Actually here is a shot list of players that flamed out in college but where big-time recruits
Josh Shelby
BJ Mullens
Austin Rivers
Skal Labissiere
Ater majok
Fab Melo
Harry Giles
Tony Parker
Harrison Twins
Anyway, the list goes on and on when you look at the top 10 highschool students that didn't make it in college. With the influx on European players looking for NIL money the game is going to get harder and harder.
Wow, he really really believes in Beringer.
This is ****ing garbage.
